My 2nd try of its Soon Kueh. There was a misunderstanding of my text messages when I told my colleague I would like "Zhui Kueh" for breakfast. Mistakenly he purchased 2 Soon Kuehs and caught me by surprise. . Not to let the food go wasted, I had took them both. Each costs S$0.70. The standard had pretty well maintained. The Soon Kueh skin was still as thick as before with the crunchy turnips fillings seated tightly inside. Love the "munch munch and munch" sound as i enjoy my soon kueh on the way to work.Chilli and Sweet Sauce was added to the soon kueh in the bag. Quite spicy though. continue reading

Curry Puff for afternoon tea break, it was one of the most favorite snacks so far. They said the stall was very famous and you must try the Signature Curry Puffs. Well, let's me try it out first. Freshly fried every moment, it was a delicious blend of curry paste with soft texture potatoes. It was tasty and crispy, the level of spiciness was fine. Only $1.10 for each, the price was reasonable. continue reading

This curry puff is $1.10 worth of short-lived happiness. In a nutshell, it's everything you can ask for in a curry puff - Spicy curry paste with extra oomph with plenty of soft potatoes, chicken and an egg slice, deep fried to a guilty perfection with a crusty, almost crunchy exterior. It is a curry puff that has a tasty breath of history, love, and delish all at the same time! continue reading

This food centre certainly has a very wide range of goodies to choose but still my favourite choice among these stall are the curry puffs from Fong's Dee. Before you going to taste it, you will be able to smell the fragrant from the crispy crust of it and the curry potatoes in it are very generous and is also quite spicy too. The price is very reasonable and it is freshly made daily to ensure the best of their curry puffs are served to everyone. Two thumbs up! continue reading

Had an itch to try this curry puff since it has been featured in makansutra and it really did not disappoint me. The curry puff is not that oily though it may look so on the outside. The insides blend in so well with the skin of the curry puff, there’s just nothing to boil this one down. A little spicier and it would have been 5 stars from me. continue reading
