I like to eat mixed rice as there is a wide variety of dishes to choose from. I ordered a healthy meal today - 2 vegetable sides and a spring roll. The stall owner gave me a complimentary vegetable soup as well. The portion of the sides is generous, the long bean is crunchy and not overcooked. As for the spring roll, it tasted not fresh or perhaps its fried earlier in the day and it was soft by the time i ordered it. Despite the negative experience with the spring roll, i will come by and try other dishes again.

I usually go for mixed vegetable rice whenever i am feeling hungry. I was here quite late and most of the dishes have already sold out so i left with limited choice. I ordered the braised minced meat, sesame chicken and curry vegetable. All the dishes tasted homely. I enjoyed eating all of them. The braised minced meat has got a nice saltiness suitable for porridge. The curry vegetable cooked to the right texture with nice curry taste. The sesame chicken has got a fragrant ginger and sesame oil taste.

There was a constant queue for this mixed vegetable rice stall during the lunch hour. I wanted a substantial lunch so mixed vegetable rice seemed to be a good choice. A generous portion of rice was given. I selected the curry veggies, braised minced meat and braised chicken to go along. The minced meat and the chicken were nicely braised to release its full flavour and cooked till the right texture. The curry veggies was a good choice too. The cabbage and long bean were cooked well to a nice softness. The curry flavour was just right with a mild spiciness. It was a filling yet satisfying lunch at only $3.00.
