I have been eating this stall since I was young. Even thou there are other carrot cake stalls in this hawker center, I just like this one. It has the right amount of cai poh, and the sweet sauce is not covering the taste of the carrot cake. Chilli is good too.I have not tried their white carrot cake before.. they seem more popular for their black ones. This stall is run by an elderly man and his two wives ( that was what it seems) I was told by my mum that the two ladies are sisters

GuanHin Homemade Carrot Cake for lunch with the folks! The carrot cake is really good! Not so oily like the traditional ones we usually have. The carrot cake is very nicely fried such that the egg is very well mixed with the carrot cake. It is also priced very reasonably! Yummy! Really enjoyed this lunch!

Managed by 3 elderly, I have been patronising them for as long as I lived. The old man is the cook whereas the other 2 old ladies help out with the packing and taking of orders.Their carrot cake is shaped in forms of cubes which not many stalls do these days. They usually dice them all up. Though the shape is huge, their carrot cake still manages to absorb the black sauce well and remain tasty! Their portions are generous too!Do not go in the late afternoon as they usually close by 2pm

Indeed it lives up to its name of being homemade, and the uneven pieces of carrot cake is so soft that it dissolves in your mouth, almost like mashmellows. I have never tried carrot cake with such wonderful texture and I would say that this is the best I have tried so far. Generous portions of egg and at only S$2, I must say it looked more like a S$4 dollar order. The quantity of carrot cake was so much but as it was so delicious, I managed to finish the entire packet. Definitely a must try!
