Had the fried orh-lua aka fried oysters to share with my friends. Due to peak hours, there is a little queue outside so I waited quite awhile before my fried oyster is done. Surprisingly the fried oyster is not oily and it actually taste good. Though the portion of the oysters given is not a lot, but the starch itself tasted nice. Other than fried oyster, they do also sell omelette version and chee cheong fun.

Chee cheong fun here is really smooth and silky. The cheong fun tastes fresh and is soft and smooth unlike others that are harder as a result of keeping them too long. The sauce is tasty and savoury complementing the noodles very well. For only a dollar, I was pleasantly surprised that the cheong fun even came with a generous sprinkling of sesame seeds that added extra flavor dimension and textural contrast!

If you do pass by this food market, do check out the oyster omelette from this stall. The egg omelette is quite generous in portion and it is not too starchy and not too wet as well. The oysters in it are very fresh and chewy, which goes very well with the tasty omelette. The added chopped parsley make the taste even better and more fragrant too. Their watery spicy chilli is also a must try with this dish if you prefer to spicy version.
