Bought a set of the Mushroom Crepe with drink and soup from this famous crepe outlet at bishan. The crepe was simply soft and fragrant and is moist and chewy. Generous amount of thinnly sliced mushroom are topped inside it which is fragrant and delicious. With generous amount of melted cheese inside which make 8t very tasty too. The mushroom soup was alright but could be n8cer if is thicker in texture. Service was friendly and fast. Restaurant is clean and neat too. Less than $12 is cheap. continue reading

My first time to be here, Saybons was a classy French Catering. Looking the Menu, I decided to try out their famous Savoury Crepe. All their cutleries tidily arranged with hygiene manner. Crepe baking was transparently displayed in front of the café. The décor was calming and carefree, we picked at seat near the boundary. Ambience was cozy and quiet even during lunch time. Soup and Drinks came first, Crepe was pending to be ready. I was wondering how to compute the amount initially, but understood after obtaining the receipt. $6.30 for Salmon Onion Cheese Crepe, $4.90 for the Soup and Ice Lemon Tea, there was no GST or service charge incurred. Handmade slice was chewy, Salmon was cheesy flavoursome. Their Pumpkin Soup was the one impressed me, well-blended and hearty to pick me up. continue reading

I was craving for their crepes and ordered a smoked salmon and cheese flavor. It was served piping hot. The hot cheese and the crepe was fragrant and flavorful. The smoked salmon was a little salty but I guess most smoked salmon tasted like that. Had it made into a soup combo and i chose the pumpkin soup to drink. It was thick and rich soup. Pumpkin flavor was plentiful. It's not some diluted soup. continue reading

for photos and more reviews, visit http://littlemomentsofmylife.wordpress.com/ when you need something to eat on the go, crepes are one of the things that are convenient enough to grab, although as we discovered that day, aren't really filling saybons' crepes are delicious though! if you want, get a savoury + sweet one! haha. i didn't try the sweet crepes, but i think they should be nice i loved my ham mushroom crepe ($4.60)! the sauteed herb mushrooms were fragrant, and complemented the slightly salty ham wonderfully. i liked how the skin of the crepe was just the right thickness, with a delightful crunch to it and served piping hot.the bacon, egg and cheese ($5.80) smelled really delicious!!!! probably cos of the bacon. it was good that the crepe wasnt too oily, despite how fried the bacon was. the amount was just right, so even though the ingredients could have made for a heavy dish, it was easy on the tummy continue reading

Saybons is such an adorable little dessert shop with all my favourite elements - wood, nautical colors and Eiffel Towers - I love it already even before I step in. There are both mains and desserts available on the menu but this time I'm trying out the desserts this time! Grace & Xuan's selection was the Rum & Raisin Banana Crepe (rum/banana/raisins/almonds) - $5 + French Vanilla ice-cream ($2.20). I can't really accurately decide if I like it because I only pinched one mouthful, all I could remember was that the rum flavour was quite strong and there wasn't really enough banana bits in it. Ave and my selection was the Apple Delight Crepe (apples/cinnamon/almonds) - $4.20 + French Vanilla ice-cream ($2.20). It is a fairly enjoyable dessert, with light wafts of fragrant cinnamon with soft apple bits. The crepe is thin and crispy on the edge (-great job!) and a little soggy from the apple and ice-cream after a while. A little difficult to cut to share with other people, but these are inconsequential picky complaints, of course. This little restaurant is suitable for friends to hangout and spend hours chatting at; it's really quiet and cozy. I am more inclined to choose this place for its ambience and decor rather than the food itself - the food is above average but not spectacular enough for re-visits. continue reading
