The chicken given were that of the breast meat which make it a bit stiff and hard to bite but it is good in a another perspective that the meat is not oily and fat, Nonetheless, I would give credit to its rice and chili sauce. Their rice was relatively fragrant and their chili sauce was well made, thus these two item would make up for the less favourable chicken meat. continue reading

This stall sells chicken and char siew rice. At $3 per plate at a coffeeshop, I think the price is costly. Furthermore, there is a pretty good chicken rice stall nearby that sells at $1.50 per plate and the serving is pretty similar. The char siew is not the best that I have tried but at least it is not full of fats and not difficult to chew. I find the marination on the char siew not good enough. To give some credit, the rice is still pretty fragrant and they use chicken rice. continue reading
