The mud pie at island creamery is what makes me keep going back for ice cream. The mudpie is really unique having tons of different flavours and textures. It starts with a chocolate base which is crisp and crunchy and next up is smooth and tasty burnt caramel ice cream with a distinctive bitter taste. On top of that is cookies and cream ice cream and finally the most rich and decadent reverso ice cream with oreo chunks to top it all off! continue reading

First tried island creamery at serene centre and just chanced upon an island creamery outlet here and bought one single scoop to eat. Love their reverso ice cream, it is a dark chocolate ice cream with oreo bits in it. The single scoop was priced at $2.80 which i feel is very affordable. Would definitely come back and try out the other flavours available. The flavours here might be limited but then it is more accessible as compared to serene centre outlet. continue reading

I think this is the only outlet of this ice cream chain in which diners can only take out. The branch at Great World City sadly only offers a more limited range of ice cream flavours. Besides that, the ice cream itself was good to summarise my experience. Their cookies & cream ice cream tasted pretty much like your run off the mill ice cream which meant that it did not stand out from the rest of its field of competitors. However, its Pulot Hitam flavour was especially memorable for me as I had not tried out such an exotic flavoured ice cream which was tailored for the Singaporean taste buds! The Pulot Hitam was creamy and tasted rather similar to yam flavoured ice cream with traces of red beans. It resulted in a sweet creamy ice cream with additional red bean bits for you to chew on. Yummy! continue reading

My first experience with this ice cream shop was at Serene Centre. Since then, I become a fan of their ice cream. Not only that they serve ice cream, they also sells ice cream cake. Now some of the branches even serve cakes. But this branch at Great world is considered small as compared to other outlets. But the quality is as good as the rest. Personally, I like their Pulau Hitam, Teh Tarik and chocolate peanut. As for the ice cream cake, I like their bomb alaska. This place is definitely value for money as to compare to other famous ice cream shops. continue reading
