Getting tired of the heavy meal during Chinese New Year, I decided on porridge to lighten up my stomach. Extensive dishes were displayed neatly, Sheng Heng was selling mixed rice generally. Running by a middle-aged couple, they were friendly and cheerful.Offered healthy Brown Rice and Stewed Soup, there was always a queue in front of the stall during busy lunch hours. Pricings were listed on the board to avoid confusion, clear and reasonable.Ordered steamed egg, veggies and pork, combination looked appetizing. Dishes was just nice without overly salty, I like especially the way they cooked the egg. Smooth silky texture while minced pork with peppery fragrant, it was decent homely. Black soy sauce pork would be better if cut into smaller size, the layer was actually quite hard to bite off. Pretty huge portion, I had mine with full of satisfaction. $2.80 for lunch was definitely worthwhile, taste not bad too.
