The ginseng chicken soup is a must-try for this restaurant. The broth is tasty. Even though there's glutinous rice in the soup, they matched it with a bowl of brown rice. This makes it perfect for sharing. It also comes with 4 side dishes. The kimchi is slightly salty but it's ok when you eat it together with the rice.Another highlight is the kimchi fried rice. The kimchi taste is just nice. This dish is also quite large and can be shared between 2 people. If you're looking for something that is spicy, you should try the dobokki. (Spicy rice cake). continue reading

Since returning from Korea some years ago, Merlion Wayfarer has always been looking for places with really solid Korean food - the type of the standard in Korea, where you bei paiseh recommend your trueblue friends from Korea. I would say that Seoul Yummy is one of those.Feeling the craving for healthy Korean food, Merlion Wayfarer went to Suntec's Seoul Yummy while on a shopping trip. Ginseng Chicken Soup is served healthy brown rice. High in calories, but also low in fiber. The soup is served piping hot and retains its temperature even after 30 mins due to the hot stone bowl...Bi Bim Bap is quite a simple dish to make. It involves putting a heap of pickled ingredients on top of some rice before being served. The diner will then be required to mix the ingredients today. However, few places serve with authentic hot stone pots, and horror of horrors, some even serve this dish in a plastic plate!Seoul Yummy's version retains its heat well in the hot stone bowl. For those who are lovers of claypot rice, Merlion Wayferer recommends not stirring the rice at the bottom for a crispy fragrant experience! continue reading

Full Review Here: http://bit.ly/MheBneSeoul Yummy advertises itself as Korean Casual Dining. The prices are certainly pretty reasonable - for $20 nett per pax you get Roasted Barley Tea, a choice of Starter and Main Course, and of course the Korean banchan side dishes. The food, though, isn't anything fancy. The banchan was lacklustre, and the side & main dishes we chose were all pretty run of the mill taste-wise.Of course, you can't expect gourmet food at this price range, so if you're craving for Korean cuisine then you should find your hunger satisfied. continue reading

This korean 'satay' is much bigger in portioni and there are also vegetables in between it as well. Whether to eat the beef, chicken or the pork belly sticks, all are equally delicious, tender and juicy. The nice marination of these meat also play a very important part for its good taste. Dip in their special sweet and spicy sauce will be even more tasty and appetitizing too. continue reading
