The fourth pit stop for the gourmet food trail is this place. The outlet is located at a quiet end of the basement. The dine in area is rather small, which makes the place feels cozy with its warm lighting. Here we get to try some of its Signature Pizzas, which costs $24.80/ Regular 10", $34.80/ Large 14", Additional $2 for New York Crust, Additional $1.50 for Calzone (regular).Chicken Royale ($24.80/ Regular 10", $34.80/ Large 14", Additional $2 for New York Crust, Additional $1.50 for Calzone)Creamy Sauce, Rosmary Chicken, Onions, Green Capsicum, Pineapples, Mozzarella, CheddarSounds like a pizza of too much cheese, I am afraid that it will tastes too cheesey. Instead it tastes very creamy with a melt in the mouth taste.Double Cheeseburger ($24.80/ Regular 10", $34.80/ Large 14", Additional $2 for New York Crust, Additional $1.50 for Calzone)Tangy Tomato Sauce, Ground Beef, Beef Pastrami, Onions Mozzarella, Cheddar, Honey MustardAt the bite, the juicy flavour fills my mouth. It is a simply drooling pizza.Aglio Olio Scampi Linguine ($12.80)Aglio Olio Linguine pan fried with garlic, prawns and parmesanWith 3 chillies marking on the menu, I am expecting the dish to be very spicy. But it is just a hint spicy. I feel that the pasta tends to clump together. We wash down the meal with a glass of ice lemon tea ($2.80), which is a cold and refreshing end to the tasty meal. Overall the food is delicious. Service is swift in serving and fast in response. continue reading

In celebration of my dear friend's birthday, we were roaming around Raffles City in the hopes of finding a great place to eat. The other restaurants had dragon queues (i.e: the queue were so long that they'd form the legendary dragon of Singapore), and so we were without a choice but to settle for Pizza Place, where they had two menu stands outside the restaurant. We didn't know which one would proclaim our entrance or desire to eat in the restaurant, and there weren't a single soul queuing but visibly the open-concept restaurant showed that the tables were filled. Thankfully, a waitress came over and ushered us to our seats. It was rather cramp due to the small shop space, and we were just an elbow away from the table beside us. I can't help but to openly eavesdrop their entire conversation about God and church .If you have secrets to share, don't come to Pizza place. But if you're there for great food, this is a DEFINITELY MUST-GO!Most importantly, there is NO GST & SERVICE CHARGE. They also had excellent service, because while I was ordering at the counter, I asked if there were any candles for the cake and apparently, one of the colleagues ran out to get some candles when they didn't have any! *gasps* Lasagne Chicken - $12.80Thick, melted cheesy layers above thin long strips of pasta, with tomato paste oozing out and chicken chunks filled in-between. This is something that you can't use to eat with, and it was one of the best lasagne I've ever eaten, beating the scores of Pizza Hut's and Pasta Mania's lasagne. It's not spammed with oil, thus it looks quite burnt in some parts which can be easily removed with your fork. Truffle Fries - $7.80Truffles are actually a type of fungus, and I have always thought it was some sort of chocolate powder. Anyway, this fragrant truffle fries is extremely addictive for its' crisp texture and saltiness with a drizzle of truffle oil. Unlike other 'french fries' which you can hardly finish or desire to gobble all of them up, Truffle Fries is ordered almost on every customer's table. I really enjoyed it, and my friend who isn't a fan of fries loved this snack as well!Iced Lemon Tea - $2.80 (top left of the table, duh! )My first question to my friend was, "Wah why this ice lemon tea no lemon one?" She drank a sip and passed over to me and I got a HUGE SHOCK from the sourness in the tea. If your taste buds have a preference for lemons, go ahead and order this just like my beloved friend did! Opera Cake - $5.80The top favourite and chef's recommendation of PIzza Place would be Tiramisu, costing $8.60 but was sold out that night. So I ordered Opera Cake, which was chocolate-layered filled with a little sprinkle of coffee powder. The taste of coffee wasn't very strong, but the slightest hint did change the entire aroma of the cake. It was extremely delicious, more delicious than it looks! You definitely have to order this.I really enjoyed the whole experience in the restaurant, we chatted until the restaurant closed and still, the waiters and waitresses didn't chase us away but we left ourselves in embarrassment of how we were the last customers left. In total, I spent $29.20. continue reading

Yesterday, my friend suggest to have dinner at The Pizza Place which located at Raffles City Shopping Centre and it's really a small shop. The queue there quite long, so i think it is a nice place for dinner. The Cheesy Wedges here is special. The wedges baked with the cheese, plus the Tata sauce. It really yummy. Seafood Carbonara with the fresh seafood and the beef. The size is big but compare with spicy chicken linguine, the spicy chicken linguine's taste is better. continue reading

Situated at the buzzing business and central district, The Pizza Place offers value-for-money western food without service charge! It is a semi-service restaurant where you will be greeted and directed to your seat at less peak hours but order your meals at the counter and served by their staff after it's prepared!Since it's called the pizza place, i bet their pizza are their signature dishes! Yes, the menu also offered a variety of pizza of various sizes, pan, regular or large.Decided to go for the pan size for a person, with sensational seafood flavor! My review! DELICIOUS! Their creamy cheesy sauce is so rich and flavorful! And they are generous with their ingredients! A piece of prawn on each slice! Although it's a little pricier than pizza hut for their pan size pizza, it's definitely much nicer and worthwhile at The Pizza Place!! Think it cost around $10.Decided to tried their ham and mushroom baked rice too since it's one of the chef recommendations reflected on the menu! Not too bad, but kinda normal too! Think it cost around $12.So don't hesitate, try out The Pizza Place soon! I'm definitely going back for more! teehee! continue reading

Went with a few friends to try out the pizza at this place after hearing not bad reviews about their food. Had the pepperoni pizza. The portion of the pizza was large and worth the money paid I would say.The taste of the pizza was rich and savoury. All pizzas are made on the spot and we could actually see the chef flipping the pizza dough and adding ingredients on the spot. One plus point is that it gives customers the freedom to add or remove ingredients from their pizza! continue reading
