After ordering our meal, I helped myself with 2 bowls of soup. The cream of mushroom tasted quite alright and goes wellwith the bread. The homemade minestrone on the other hand was diluted but contained sufficient and limitedingredients. Tsa did not try any soup as he did not like the choices available. There was a wide array of drinks to choose from. From a Nescafe dispenser which have 6 choices to choose from, tropical pineapple juice, mango peach juice, ice lemon tea and a series of soft drinks were also available. Tsa kept going for the tea with sugar instead of other drinks. Maybe some people after marriage may tend go into uncle's style? I hope I won't. Tsa set was a pile of mashed potatoes, 3 mussels, a piece of salmon and a chicken cutlet. There were 3 types of sauce available. Black pepper, mushroom and tomato. Most people would go for the black pepper for added spice. Unfortunately for Tsa, he went to order the wrong set, not the set he had wanted. He do not eat salmon and mussels. I helped him with his salmon but as for mussels, I also did not want. As for my set, it consists of mashed potato, fish cutlet, chicken cutlet and a couple of tempura prawns.I actually took the mushroom sauce and the black pepper sauce. The chicken cutlet was so large that I needed 2 times ofblack pepper to cover its top surface (lightly covered, not too excessive). I liked the mashed potato as it was the onlynon-fried food I had. The tempura's flour was a little too thick for my liking. continue reading

This set is called crazy horse which serves grilled chicken, dory fish and fried prawn with mushroom sauce. The grilled chicken is really succulent and well cooked and it doesn't have too much fats which makes it really easy to chew. As for the dory fish I found it quite fresh and it has bits of pepper sprinkled over it to heighten the overall taste of the dory fish. As for the fried prawns, it was dipped in flour before deep frying it and is really crispy and fresh. The mushroom sauce was a little salty but tasted well with the prawns. The broccoli and sweet corn was boiled and crunchy. You will just need to add another $5 or so to upgrade your meal to get a salad, mushroom soup and drink that could be topped up to complete your meal! The salad is made fresh and has a few hot dogs, vegetables and sauce. The sauce was a little salty but overall not too bad. The salad is refreshing and the tomatoes were juicy. Highly recommended for all to try! continue reading

The food served is in generous portion, very filling and great value. Each set cost around $12. You can top up $2 for the salad bar too. Quite worth it as it entitles you to free flow of soup, drinks and ice-cream. Good for people who wants variety at low price. It’s a good place to chill out but not so much for quality food. Taste is average like what is served in normal hawker centre and it’s a little oily. continue reading
