Brought a plate of the indonesian bbq chicken rice with the fries as the side dish. The chicken is well marinated and grilled, has a mild sweet and slight herb flavour and a soft and tender texture. The gravy wise is not too salty and goes well with the chicken. As for the fries, it has a slight crispy texture, well deep fried, has a slight golden brown colour and is lightly seasoned with salt. Price starts from $3.50 depending on the type of main dish chosen which includes chicken, fish and many more choices. continue reading

you must definitely not miss the opportunity to try this really delicious barberqued chicken drumstick from this stall. You will be expecting quite a long queue for your food at peak hour at this stall. The chicken meat is very tender and big in portion. Love those dark sauce used in barberquing the chicken as they are really sweet and fragrant, goes really well with the chicken drumstick. continue reading

I ordered this after visiting the temple there to pray. My eyes were captured by the spicy chili chicken drumstick. So i stop by and ordered a plate of rice. I ordered the drumstick too. It was good. I love the chili on it. Both of their own chili sauce also taste super spicy to others that don't taste spicy to me at all. I really like it. However, the vegetables given is too little. They should give more given by the price. continue reading

I ordered the fish set from the indonesian bbq stall which cost me $3.50. The stingray was rather bland if you do not eat with the sauce. The sauce is that of the thailand chili sauce but it isn't that great either. The flesh of the fish is a bit stiff too. The cabbage was alright, soft and considered tasty, to my relief. Also, luckily there is some curry gravy that goes with the rice, otherwise I would have wasted more of the rice. Generally, I would say this fish set is only average and there are better of such indonesian bbq outside. continue reading

3 people before me, this lady came to get some curry sauce for her rice along with her plate. When the auntie handled over the plate to the lady, the lady was so rushy, she knocked over her own rice all over the stall's front. The stall owner auntie then , saying she impatient. Hot curry sauce even spilt on the auntie's clothes. Poor auntie Her service towards the rest of us in queue was quite off la, because she was afraid the same thing will happen again.Food wise, the black pepper tasted a little sweet for my liking. The curry sauce was quite watery but fragrant. Chilli paste resembles that of nasi lamek and the chicken meat was simple to bite. Nothing special but ok food loh. continue reading
