The Valrhona chocolates counter inside ThreeSixty Marketplace is arguably the best chocolatier in town.They sell chocolate bars, cooking chocolate and of course pralines and truffles. And they are all super yummy!Take for example the cooking chocolate: it is so smooth and has such a rich taste that you can eat it on its own instead of using it as an ingredient. Unlike the ordinary cooking chocolates that are coarse, crumbly and don't add much to your recipes except colour and calories.Talking about calories: the truffles and pralines are very sinful little gems indeed... But forget about this from time to time and try a new flavour at each visit. Trust me, these candies are addictive!!!The best ones I have tried so far (sorry, I don't remember their names) are the plain Jivara milk chocolate ganache that comes in a cute heart shape as well as in a classic square shape and the dark hazelnut praline. Of the liqueur filled ones the grand marnier (white colour) and the raspberry brandy (pink colour) flavours are the most outstanding.Nice to know: Valrhona uses only natural ingredients so at least in this respect the chocolates can be enjoyed without feeling guilty.Note that this shop is take-away only. Prices are high - around SGD 20 for four small pieces but totally worth it.
