the size of the dim sum here is small. they taste pretty good and there is a variety to choose from.this here is a steamed dumping that is a bit like a gyoza as the bottom looks pan fried. the filling is tasty, but because it is so small, you don't get satisfied. the skin is thick enough and not dry. the filling is also moist and salty. overall, it is good and convenient. about $1.80 continue reading

This stalls sells a range of Dim Sum items from steam Pau to pan fried bean curd rolls. I order the Mui Choy Pau which has nice soft bun texture with lots of preserved vegetables. The steam items is in a wooden box and comes piping hot. The bean curd roll is wrapped with a pieces of seaweed and the filling has a nice bit to it. I also ordered the pan fried pau which is lightly fried and when you bite into it the filling is very juicy. continue reading

I was In suntec & stopped by Aster Pau for a quick bite, after a whole lot of grocery shopping at Carrefour. I stopped that Aster Pau was open even after 10:30 PM,while all other food stalls had closed down there. I asked for a pork pau. It was fluffy, soft & tasty. But the filling wasn't too much. The pork filling was good though. It wasn't spicy, but it was tasty. It was a nice & quick snack on the go. continue reading

this place has lots of dim sum stuff. quite unique as i never had them in other places. the variety is different to the usual dim sum places. their pastry withstood the takeaway in plastic bag. usually the pastry would stick. it's served warm but not too hot. nice flavours. not too salty. everything i've tried is pretty good. and tastes really fresh. did not like the staff who smelled of cigarettes. quite pricey too for small little morsels of dim sum. but they tasted great. recommended. continue reading

Was looking for a light dinner and decided on this new stall that i guess was only set up a month or 2 ago. I chose the cabbage and pork bun and onion pancake, from the rather huge variety available. The cabbage and pork bun was not bad, the pork was quite fresh and tasty. However, the onion pancake was quite a disappointment, it was really hard and quite bland. Both of these cost $1.20 each, which i found it quite expensive. continue reading
