I passed by Baskin Robbins at Nex the other day and they had this one for one promotion (it was a Wednesday, some Pink day apparently, not sure if it's one-off or weekly) - both scoops have to be in one cup. I tried the new flavour lemon mascarpone cheese - lemon taste was strong but a little artificial; there were also cheese bits within. They also have lots of other flavours available and some limited ones.

After dinner, craving dessert found nex have Baskin Robbins, feel great to saw it. Too bad today not Wednesday, cannot have a pink day offer. Buy 1 get 1 free! for pink day. SO, Remember come on Wednesday. I order 2 scoop - 1 is Cookie Chocolate and 1 Chocolate, it cost me $6. Price is quite expensive for me, but after i tried the ice cream, it really taste nice and rich. Able to taste the original cookie & chocolate taste of it.

Prior to this, I've not tried Baskin Robbins before and it's always exciting for me to try something new especially ice cream. I had to try out a few flavours before deciding on the double scoop -sharing with a friend is always a good idea because you'll get to try more stuff out and you can split the cost!We settled for the strawberry froyo and the red velvet with a waffle and M&M toppings (really strange but it actually was quite nice haha) The strawberry froyo was exceptionally creamy and tasted more of strawberry ice cream with a hint of sourness from the yogurt -really different from conventional frozen yogurt we are used to such as those in Frolick or Yoguru! The red velvet was good -less coloring compared to maggie moo's, and it's definitely better! It has a cake-ish taste that tastes of a sweet mix of cookie dough, cake and a bit of chocolate...which I guess is the whole idea of red velvet anyway haha.The waffle was a bit disappointing -tasted more like a fanned out ice cream cone and it didnt rly have a real flavour which I didnt like..the M&Ms were surprisingly nice with the ice cream -crunchy and gave the whole dessert texture.Baskin Robbins does have quite a high standard of ice cream and I would expect so -being so renowned! Price wise they charge reasonable prices and that huge portion of two scoops with toppings and waffle cost us around $7++(couldnt remember the exact amount) and it was really sizeable so we paid only $3-4 for it each. I was so happy to find out that BR opened a branch literally right in the middle of NEX! It is a very central location and really outstanding with such cheerful colours in its design! The queue was short, so we were lucky. There are really 31 tubs of ice-cream~! So cool!The refreshing smoothie was the attraction that day, so my sister bought one with a scoop of Rainbow Sherbet. We also bought Mango Sherbet and Splish Splash Sherbet and another Rainbow Sherbet separately!They taste really good! The mango sherbet was the sweetest among all these but it's not sweet enough to gag you. Rainbow Sherbet is an interesting mix of sweet and sour and it is just so pretty to look at.I love anything that is blue, so naturally, this flavour's colour attracted me. The taste was really sour! So exciting! HahaI'd love to go back and try out other flavours! ♥

I always wait for the 31st of every month. This is the day when they got the 31% off for their ice cream. They freshly packed it when ordered. You can choose upto 4 flavors and they packed it for you. I love flavors like Jamoca Almond Fudge, Pistachio Almond and Pralines n Cream. The strawberry cheesecake flavor tasted very normal. I will not order again.The taste of their ice cream is creamy and rich, also not very sweet.
