Merlion Wayfarer eats at BBQ Chicken today!(Juicy details are at http://merlionwayfarer.blogspot.sg/2012/10/juicily-bbq-d.html)Grilled Chicken Omelette Rice ($13.90)Their signature olive rice is wrapped in a specially-prepared omelette and then served in a grilled boneless chicken thigh. The sauce is generous, and tinged with some mushroom flavour. Omelette tasted a bit plastic, being less fluffy than the others.Char Grilled Smoked Duck ($17.90)This dish consisted of two huge chunks of duck the size of two fat tubes of ham. The skin was layered with a huge lining of fat but grilled to a crispy golden brown colour. When bitten, the juice of the succulent meat simply oozed out. Absolutely the most delicious duck ever! continue reading

BBQ Chicken at Greenwich V Mall serves very nice chicken and duck meat. Although this Korean BBQ Chicken store serves great grilled chicken, Mrupupup prefers their succulent duck meat dish. The duck meat dish is fantastic and the flavour very unique. Just love to see grilled duck meat ozzing with much duck fatty juice. I placed a picture of the duck served with mashed potato & salad and can make one salivate. You can try their grilled chicken which is also good. continue reading

I had ordered a Fish Baked Rice which cost $10.90++ ! It is inclusive with mushroom soup and drink !The mushroom soup is not bad,a bit creamy and there are mushroom slices inside.I like the baked rice too, because it is so cheesy !! We also ordered the cookies & cream milkshake.I like the texture. The taste not very strong but getting stronger. The little milk taste match well with the cookies. continue reading

Its the mushroom steak with another plate containing the mash potato with the gravy sauce and some salad! What i felt is that the steak is half done and it is pretty well-cooked. It is not too blunt or too chewy, however it is nice to bite and the taste of the beef is there together with the piping hot mushroom sauce! The mash potato design looks cool as it looks like a volcano part that contain the gravy!Yuummy! continue reading

I saw the previous reviewer's comments on the poor service, but luckily, I did not experience any of that. The waiter was quite polite and the food did not take long to arrive even though the restaurant was quite filled during dinner. I ordered the bbq chicken. It comes with salad and fries. I must comment on the chicken because it is cooked just right and it is very flavourful and tasty with the sauce. The sauce is not overly salty or msg laden as I did not feel thirsty after eating it. The fries are also crisp and tasty. It is quite an enjoyable meal for me with the nice comfy chairs and above average food. continue reading
