Finally i get to try the Hei Ice Cream at Awfully Chocolate (AC)!I got a single scoop of Hei Ice Cream ($4.90) and i was quite shocked at the serving. A single serving literally filled the takeaway box that was meant to hold the ice cream. Speaking of which, i quite like the packaging with AC's standard colours of white and black.The chocolate taste is super creamy and thick and the ice cream melts rather quickly. Recommended to share unless you are a true-blue chocolate lover. Still i am impressed with the serving and i think it is a fair price to pay!

A 6" all chocolate cake which cost $32. It came with 100 g of dark chocolate truffles worth $13.50 (you have to like their facebook or instagram page to enjoy this offer). When ordering the cake, you can request the person to customize some wordings on it too.Taste wise, the cake was really normal. the chocolate layer stood out, but was too thin. The sponge chocolate cake layers were just too normal. Overall, it was disappointing and did not live up to its price tag of $32.As for the free dark chocolate truffles, they were fantastic! It had the right amount of cream with chocolatey taste and tiny bits of cocoa. It was not too soft, hence, rendering it a pleasure to softly chew and savor this delicious piece of dessert.Overall, the truffles saved the day and made it a memorable birthday experience.

We celebrated a friend's birthday today with the decision to buy the All Chocolate Cake ($32) from Awfully Chocolate. The birthday girl loved chocolate so we thought this would be perfect! It was about 8" in diameter. This chocolate cake serves 8 just perfectly. For birthday cakes, you can request to write words on the cake.The chocolate cake was really good! Everyone was full of praises for it! It was very thick and yet not too dry or cloying and moist. There are many different chocolate layers within the cake as well, one chocolate sponge layer and pure chocolate. The quality of the whole cake is definitely premium. A little expensive, but for definitely will ensure everyone's satisfaction Recommended. Perfect for sharing!

This is a relatively new outlet in Jurong Point, I think it is opened less than a year ago. My wife and I chanced upon it while walking back to Jurong Point 2 from Jurong Point 1, and we decided to try their chocolate ice cream, the hei ice cream. A single scoop of hei ice cream is $3.80. The chocolate is really very chocolate. Chocolate lovers will be a fan of this because the chocolate is really rich and it is not too sweet. For the price of $3.80, it is very reasonable as I believe very little other ingredients are added, the bulk is chocolate. My wife and I shared a cup and I will advise you to share if you are a normal fan of chocolate because having the whole cup will be much too much for a person as the intensity of chocolate is very strong.

My colleague has surprised me with my all time favourite dark chocolate cake in the office during my birthday. Since it is already my favourite, I have no complaints but to happily enjoy every mouthful of it. THe dark chocolate used is very thick and fragrant. The chocolate cake sponge is also moist and not too sweet. Even the price of it is quite high, but for its premium quality, is defnitely a good buy.
