I ordered the Grilled Fish Dory set at S$9.80 it comes along with 1 soup of the day and 1 drink and also Aglio Olio with Bacon at S$11.80.For the grilled fish, the fries was crispy and nice, but the coleslaw was pretty average. The dory fish wasn't too bad but a little too dry, probably grilled for too long. If you're cream-based soup lover, you will love this mushroom soup! It also comes with garlic bread. The ice lemon tea was refreshing and nice. The Aglio Olio was too oily, the olive oil taste was overwhelming and was a little too spicy. Definitely not worth the second try. However bacon was not too bad as it’s slightly crispy. Waiting time and seats: I went at about 12.30pm on a weekday, the working crowd that filled up the restaurant, finding tables for small groups(2-3people) isn’t an issue, but for larger group (4 and above) you might want to consider arriving earlier. Waiting time for order to be taken was quite fast (about 5mins) despite having queue with estimated 10 people in front. Waiting time for main course to be ready takes about 10mins. continue reading

Long time have not been to Changi City Point. Decided to eat western food and at a reasonable price. We went to Han's. This resturant has a long history in Singapore. Currently, it operates only in certain places and not as commonly seen as other Western food restaurant. We ordered a set meal. Mine is the pork chop which comes with a drink of our choice (orange juice for me), dessert (the green swiss roll), soup (cream of mushroom) and the main dish. The restaurant operates in a self-service style where we had to queue to order our food and collect the soup, drink and dessert after making payment. After which, the main course will be served by the waiter/ waitresses of the restaurant. Good ambience within the restuarant. Suitable for friends, family and even couple, should they not mind the chatters of the other diners. ;) continue reading

SImple but yet quite comfortable dining environment best to describe this Han's outlet. Food was served to my table less than ten minutes. I had their tuna salad for dinner was looking forward to lose some weight after a few consecutive heavy dinners. The tuna meat was light and goes quite welll with the lettuces. The side coleslaw I suppose does not blend in well with the tuna fish and the sliced cucumbers was abit too plain even though it is fresh. The staffs here are also quite approachable and friendly. continue reading

I simply love the desserts at Han's! Which I made to perfection and are really value for money. This time round my boyfriend tried the chocolate truffle while I decided to try the blueberry tart. I love the ambience of this cafe. Subtle yet simple, the cafe has a cosy ambience and plenty of seating indoors.Chocolate truffle. In my opinion, this dessert is highly recommend. Moist chocolate sponge cake with layers of thick chocolate mousse and a simple dark chocolate glaze at the top, with a chocolate ball to make it all pretty. This cake does not only look delicious, it tastes absolutely amazing! A chocolate lover's dream! 10/10Blueberry tart. A golden baked pie with a generous portion of blueberry jam in the middle. This tart does not only taste good but is not filled with calories either. I love the delicious crust which is not too hard yet not moist either. There were also pieces of real blueberries at the top! and was glazed with a little icing sugar for sweetness. 8/10Ice blended early grey tea with vanilla ice cream. One of my favorite oh-so-sinful beverages. This beverage is light and creamy with a tinge of earl grey - not too heavy for a hater but just right for a tea lover! Highly recommended! 9/10 continue reading

When I was walking into changi city point, I saw one of the han’s bakery staff actively handing out the flyers so decided to head in for a drink after the long travel to expo. I ordered myself an iced lemon tea. the tea tasted like those you get from tea bags. The lemon gave the entire drink a sour twist. It was not too sweet as well. sometimes when you are very thirsty, you do not want your drink too sweet and this lemon tea was just right. continue reading
