After i saw a review from nightkidz and Cornflict, i decided to give it a try this afternoon. As what they had mention on the previous review, the queue was long during lunch hour. I ordered fried meat balls, brocoli and sweet & sour pork at this stall. All of the dishes i ordered is pretty good and this only cost me $2.90. In this review i would like to recommend Fried meat balls and sweet & sour pork at this stall cause it taste pretty good not that oily for the meat balls, the sauce of the sweet & sour is very thick and it really taste very good.Recommendation: 1) fried meat balls2) sweet and sour pork continue reading

This stall is popular in bukit merah cental hawker central. Recently, i visited this stall during lunch hour and i saw it was having a long queue. I ordered fried meat balls, spicy stingray, traditional ngoh hiong, hand made fish cake and egg rolls for my family members. It cost only only $17.50 around $3.50 per pax. Its a very very reasonable price a price which you cant find outside.i would like to recommend a few dish 1) Traditional ngoh hiong ( wu xiang)I seldom find this traditional dish outside, using beancurb skin to wrap the meat. 2) Fried Meat ballsAt first i thought this will be a very oil dish but after i eat it, its not oily at all. 3) Egg rolls a normal egg but the feelings inside the egg roll is a traditional hand make fish cake. continue reading

This stall is the only teochew porridge stall in the hawker centre and is quite popular with long queues during lunch time. The good thing about eating teochew porridge is the more people sharing, the more side dishes you can order to try. So I had beancurd skin, scrambled eggs, sweet and sour pork, meat ball, and sardine. All of the dish taste pretty good, but all are a little salty. I would recommend the sweet and sour pork and meat ball from this stall. In total, I paid $8 for everything, which I feel is a reasonable price. continue reading
