The weekday lunch set is super worth it as it's $32.80 nett for 2 pax.It includes 1 appetizer, 1 dish, 1 lamian, 1 xiao long bao, and a drink each.The appetizer, dish, and lamian is chosen from a list that's already pre-selected.Deep fried diced chicken with fried chili was served hot but luckily it was a small portion cause it started to lose its flavor after a while.Xiao long bao's skin may not be as thin as din tai fung but the soup is very presentSliced pork roll with cucumber and garlic is a cold dish that definitely got our appetites rollingThe menu which shows what selections you can choose from. The more people that come, the more worth it it'll be!

Will visit this branch usually after visiting the Kinokuniya. Decided to try something different instead of ordering the usual spicy la mian & the watercress honey drink.Was too hungry to go home for dinner. And settled for the double boiled chicken soup. The soup has too much msg but the chicken meat is tender. Needed a dessert after the dinner and ordered the mango pudding. Although it is flavourful with mango, but there's a slight over-taste of mango essence.. will not eat this again.I will still be back with my usual fare but definitely not these dishes again.

The Jian Bao at Crystal Jade is quite unique. I have never tasted anything like that before. It's almost like a Xiao long bao in a pau skin with the pork filling almost identical to the Xiao long bao filling with juice and everything, it's even served with vinegar and ginger just like a Xiao long bao. The bottom of the bao is fried so it's crisp and crunchy while the top still mantains it's fluffiness. Quite a unique snack!

Crystal jade is a good choice for a quick dinner with friends or family! It's affordable and always serves consistently good food. The fried rice has good wok hei and is not too oily. Especially like the salted fish and chicken one, which is really tasty! The rice is not too soft and the generous toppings make this a really nice dish! Also good is the zha jiang mien! Soft noodles with a deliciously savoury pork sauce!

Somehow I like to eat Chinese-style La Mian, it was plain but tasty to eat. We finally decided to come this reataurant to have our dinner, Crystal Jade La Mian and Xiao Long Bao located at Ngee Ann City. The queue length was acceptable.Started with a Menu, a wide range of food to be chosen. We were served by a polite staff. The soup of the La Mian was excellent and not oily. Personally I like the spicy La Mian. And what surprised me was, the existence of peanuts inside the soup, it was crunchy.La Mian ordered by my friend, a simple taste soup which was healthy.A bit spicy, flavourful pork with potatoes inside. We shared this dish among ourselves.Overall, the environment considered comfortable but the price was slightly higher.
