Signature Dishes
Gelare have been one of the waffle go to places especially since it is easily accessible cause it is located in malls. They are very generous with the chocolate syrup and the ice cream here was really good. The waffles have the outer crisp which goes very well together with the ice cream.

I have gotten my craving for ice cream waffle satisfied at Gelare. I'm not sure if there is the best place for waffle but since there is no single soul in the cafe, I decided to patronize them.Chose a Chocolate Chip waffle with Raspberry Sorbet and Cookie & Cream ice cream plus Chocolate syrup over the waffle. That costs me $17.15, which is quite expensive to me. This is the price I had at Baskin Robbins for two persons in total. Well... it is two different things. First of all I'm on chocolate intoxication. The chocolate chip waffle is drizzled with chocolate syrup. Sweetness overload. The waffle itself smell good even from far before serving up to me. It is soft and crisp on the outside. As for the ice cream, the Cookie & Cream adds on to the sweetness, with the cookie crumps from within. And so is the Raspberry Sorbet. So icy and sweetness. I think I'm gonna get diabetic soon.I will come back again if I have the craving for waffle and shall only take one scoop of ice cream. That shall be sorbet of any flavours.

Vivo City is a shopping heaven out of city; very accessible as MRT and bus interchange is a stone throw away.I decided to take a break here at Gelare Cafe. This cafe is quite nice and quiet as there wasn't many people around. maybe cos we came at a right time. We ordered the Ice Lemon Tea, Waffle with vanilla and Cookies'n'cream. The staffs are friendly, but my waffle did take a while to be done. The ice cream was nice and creamy, wasn't icy like the usual mistakes done by ice cream parlours. The waffle was "baked" nice crisp on the edges and soaked nicely with the ice cream.

Gathering with friends at a Friday evening. Girls will always be girls; we like sweet food very much, then we finally chosed this place, Geláre. Actually, for every Tuesday, you will get to enjoy 50% discount on their waffles. Since we were all craving for the ice-cream waffles, we didn't care so much of it.The shop was not very big, yet it looked clean, simple and neat. The labels and price tags for the ice-cream were arranged properly, it allowed customers to choose and place their orders easily. The staff was friendly, served us politely with a smiling face. It provide a wide range of ice-cream flavours for us. The menu was straightforward. We just need to choose what flavours we want to eat then place our orders. Me and one of my friend decided to share one waffle with two scoops of ice-cream. I ordered Caramel Fudge Brownie while she choosed Cookies & Cream. The price was slightly higher for me, costed $16.90 for two scoops. But the taste was respectively nice. The waffle was baked on the spot, thus it was crunchy outside and soft to bite inside. A decent high-quality ice-cream, it does not melt easily. Even we were chatting while eating, but the ice-cream still in a perfect condition. I shared it with my friend, so I can tasted two different flavours at a same time. Cookies and cream was a bit sweet for me; Caramel Fudge Brownie was full of chocolate flavour and smooth.Overall, we concluded that the waffles will taste much nicer with the whipped cream, of course you may choose eat the waffle without putting cream or topping.
