I guessed Dim Sum was not really a traditional hawker dish, normally only steamed bun offered at the kiosk counter. My first time to visit Lucky Star Coffee Shop, they opened 24 hours daily. We purposely came here for supper, known as cheapest Dim Sum in Singapore. Environment was clean and well-maintained, quite lively and crowded during late night. My boyfriend picked some signature dishes, recommended by ladyboss. Chicken Feet, Shrimp Dumplings, Siew Mai, Steamed Pork Ribs, Fried Wantons, Peanut Butter Bun and Chee Cheong Fun, the table was filled up by Dim Sum. All food was freshly cooked, pipping hot from the oven. Talking about my favourite Siew Mai, the basic meat was good tasted and well marinated. Hong Kong style thin rice roll with prawns inside was impressed too, crispy Wanton was salty for my liking also. Average price per basket was $2.00, pretty attractive and cheap. continue reading
