This is something that we will definitely order whenever we dine at Bukit Timah Market. Located at a corner, this stall is not difficult to find. The oysters omelette here is nice, not too oily and they are quite generous with oysters. The oysters they used are small but fresh and juicy. The combination of the egg and the starch are just nice, fragrant and crispy. Their chilli sauce is nice, a little sour and not very spicy. Nice. continue reading

50 cents for a satay stick. Ordered 10 pieces with some lotong sides for lunch. The peanut sauce tasted average and the lontong rice was too clumped up together but it was complemented well with the peanut sauce. The satay chicken was a little too oily but well marinated and very flavourful. The chicken meat was also tender and succulent although some parts were charred. I got my order in about 5 minutes after ordering. continue reading

Leng kee is one of the stall I will patronize whenever I am eating at Bukit Timah food centre! Because I like their oysters ! It was big , succulent and fresh. The way they cook the omelette is not oily and chewy The ratio of egg and the batter is just right.Other than oyster omelette, they sell nice satay too! Please note that the picture was taken when I have finished half of the omelette. continue reading

Brought a plate of satay and oyster egg for dinner. Firstly, the satay meat is soft and tender, not very hard. The satay has a nice golden brown colour with slight charcoal on the side. The satay is well marinated and seasoned. The amount of meat in a stick is quite sufficient. As for the gravy, it is not watery, the thickness is there, peanut is well chopped, not too fine, seasoning is slightly sweet and not oily. As for the oyster egg, the oyster is quite fresh, big and juicy. The egg and the batter is well combined and has a soft and slight crispyness texture. Seasoning is acceptable, not too salty. The chili sauce is well made, has a hot and spicy taste and goes well with the oyster. continue reading
