I was working in Woodlands today and here is my lunch! I ordered mixed vegetable rice for today! Well, I must said Chang Cheng really had a lot variety of foods from you to choose from and best of all, all looks tempting and nice! Usually i will only ordered 3 items but the food was so nice that i ordered 5! From my plate there is: potatoes (stir-fry), 2 kinds of eggs (steam and boiled), steam fish and also a meat! But i am reducing my carbohydrate content by asking for less rice! Well, the meat was best out of the 5 dishes, i like it when it was piping hot and the softness of the meat! My next favourite is the steam fish, it is fry with garlic and this garlic is not burnt which really required good skill! Both eggs taste normal to me, but i still like it, because i am an egg lover. The potatoes were slightly too salty, but it is soft and easy to bite!

This dish may look really plain and unattractive, but I can tell you the pork meat is simply very juicy and tender and the marination of these pork meat is really fragrant. This dish is not always available in this stall, so the moment i see it, I will definitely order it as one of my dish for my vegetable rice. It also goes well with plain porridge too. But I still prefer it to go along with plain rice.

I always wonder why there are so long queue outside to stall during lunch and dinner hours, and decided to check out the food here to find out the reason. With no surprises, the food really turn out to be quite delicious. Especially love to eat their sweet and sour pork as every parts of it are very crunchy and the sweetness is just right as well. The meat inside is very tender and juicy. Besides, their vegetable dishes are also very fresh and crunchy, not overcooked. Cheap and good are best to describe here!
