Finally tried Chocolate Origin's lava cake after passing by it so many times. The chocolate syrup and ice cream underneath the lava cake are both not too sweet. The combination of the hot lava cake and cold ice cream is perfect. With quite a petite cup, one will not get sick of eating it. continue reading

One of the best if not the best chocolate lava cake I have ever tasted and it is affordable at $5. The portion is quite small but it is really yummy. The vanilla ice-cream beneath was almost tasteless but that's okay because the chocolate sauce and the warm cake were so rich in flavour so it was a good balance. I'll recommend you to try this! continue reading

This is a cake which my dear food kaki, Kaiyi have raved about to me; and I have even heard claims that it was even better than Awfully Chocolate’s cake (Though I am never really a fan of their cakes)I was curious, but there was never a good reason to get the cake since its first outlet is tucked away in Changi Village, a 30mins drive away from home. However, with a new outlet opened at 313 Somerset, my sister’s birthday proved to be a good excuse to indulge in some chocolate!I placed an order on their website and selected a day to head down collect it.Instagram this picture once I got my hands on it cause I was so excited to sink my teeth into it.There is both original and dark chocolate flavour. Because the family is more into Dark chocolate, that was the choice which I totally dont regret!I love love love how generous they were with their chocolate which was so smooth and melts in your mouth, sending you to chocolate heaven! If you have eaten before and love how Royce chocolate taste, this is exactly how it felt with every mouthful.PURE CHOCOLATE SENSORY OVERLOAD!READ MORE OF SUCH REVIEWS @ ROUNDTUMTUMS.COM continue reading

As the name suggests, Chocolate Origin serves chocolate-y desserts such as cake and lava cake. Was here for desserts having having dinner in town.Cuppa Lava Cake with ice cream. I called this small cup of heaven! The lava cake is so soft and the molten chocolate taste so good. Not too sweet. And the brownie is so warm it complement with the ice cream below it. Surprisingly the ice cream didn't melt even when i eat very slowly and when there is a warm brownie above it. I really like this lava cake however the portion is a bit small for a sweet tooth like me continue reading

Browsed the web to look for good cakes to buy for my mum's birthday when I chanced about Chocolate Origin with it's nicely and simply done layout. This is as shown in the cakes produced too. Nothing fanciful, just a whole cake covered in good quality dark chocolate that is oh-so good. The blend of bitterness and sweetness in each bite just brings you near to heaven. Even though it is located in the city area, it is surprisingly affordable too. Since I was at the shop, I decided to try the widely talked about Chocolate lava and Vanilla ice cream which they are famous for also. It is really unimaginable how it's created as the ice cream is cold at the bottom while the chocolate lava cake at the top is hot! That being said, the ice cream doesn't melt! It truly is a wonderful creation with every bite filled with hotness and coldness. continue reading
