Ordered this sausage baked rice to try. The taste is quite nice. It got 2 different types of sausages. The pink one and the white one. I think the pink one is the pork and the white one is the chicken. It baked with quite a lot of cheese. The rice got nice cheesy and tomato taste. The sausages also quite tasty. The portion is enough. There are other types of baked rice too. continue reading

Noodles wif Chicken + Tom Yam Soup + Custard Lava BunMy friend was recommend that their custard Lava bun so went there for lunch during the weekday and realize there's was 1 for 1 promotion!!Custard Buns: These were perfectly done. Soft, fluffy white buns encasing runny, warm yellow custard...They were quickly finished, and we were licking the savoury custard-syrup off our fingers!!Tom Yam Soup: This was quite a let down, totally tasteless... its not worth at all...Noodles wif Chicken: like regular instant noodles tasted, exactly like buy a pack of instant noodles from super mart for $1+ per packet, didn't taste exceptionally good too...The food is cater for youngsters as is cheap... continue reading

Mushroom salad (6/10), mushrooms were TOO SALTY and had no mushroomy feel at all. Waffles and ice cream (7.5/10) = very presentable and the most edible dessert for tonight! Desserts don't usually go wrong especially when there's ice cream involved.Custard buns to melt in the mouth (7.5/10). I love to see those yellow paste ooze out AND I SHOULD HAVE ORDERED MORE. It's a heavenly snack! I'm thankful the custards are hot enough. The overall was quite a vibrant environment and I had no idea why the waiting time to be served takes pretty long. Service wasn't so good. continue reading

Won KungFu Paradise meal voucher worth $20 from Openrice contest! Headed to the nearest KungFu Paradise outlet at Sembawang...When we reached there, the staffs were not ready at around 10a.m for breakfast. Furthermore, I then realise that the waffles, breakfast menu was not available at this outlet. But, we still went in though. We sat at the cushion seats. Nice decor within the restaurant. Ordered coffee and katsu curry rice.Ordered warm lemon tea with knotty noodles with sesame chicken. Both portions were quite little. The noodles which I ate was a little soggy to my liking. The sesame chicken were served warm. There were no crowd on a Sunday morning. Hmm... I guess they have to improve on their breakfast menu like introducing not only to selected outlets but to all outlets. continue reading

Decided to give this special dish a try - Black Pepper Japanese Curry Chicken w Rice! Nothing special. The black pepper kind of diluted the sweetness in the Japanese Curry, and I would have preferred the latter in full version. The saving grace was that the drumstick was fairly meaty. I would be rather annoyed if it didn't fill me well. One dish I would highly recommend would be their Truffle Fries. Ordered this 2nd time round (and I've only been to this outlet twice!). Delicious! Worth every calorie in them! Hahaha! continue reading
