Blissful moment when eating breakfast with my dearest, it was just a simple traditional meal though. Toast Box embarked in warm and nostalgic concept, committed an enjoyable experience for diners. Conveniently located at Junction 8, the shop was flooded early in the morning. Classic decoration, the place was comfy spacious and neatly clean. Ordering was done at the counter, we were given a number plate while waiting our food.Greeted by freshly brewed Milk Tea, I sipped and it was very soothing for my throat. Stirred well, the taste was just nice to drink. Bitten into Kaya Toast, the scrumptious fragrance was burst out at my mouth. Little crusty bread wrapped within, the sweetness of Kaya and the savory of butter was a good combination always. Having to say, the butter was generously thick with Kaya which very moist in between. Half-boiled egg came along with the set too, best eaten while it was still hot. Portion wise, it was completely enough and satisfying. Affordable to dine here, Menu offered at Toast Box was suitable to elderly as well as children. continue reading

One of the best laksas I've ever had! Homely-rich flavor with silky consistency. Not too spicy - acceptable level. Unlike laksa from other places, Toast Box laksa uses mouse noodles - not yellow noodles $6.10 for a set of laksa & barley drink! Home-made Barley drink tastes just as great as its laksa. Warm barley drink would definitely taste better than the diluted iced version. continue reading

It was time for a snack in the evening, since I was out in the heat all day. SO I went to toast box & ordered for a Bundung with pearls costing about 2.1 $. It had loads of ice in it,it was chilled, really sweet & very refreshing, especially since it was a hot day in Singapore. The 2 favourites of mine from toastbox are Bandung & iced/hot milo. continue reading

I went to Toast Box for breakfast where I ordered the peanut butter thick toast. It costs $1.80 for a thick slice of bread spread with a thick layer of delicious peanut butter. I like the softness of the bread in the middle and the crispiness of the crust. The service is efficient and you don’t have to spend a lot of time waiting. continue reading
