To me, good har jiong Kai, has to be crispy, freshly fried, strong but not over powering prawn paste smell and juicy/tender chicken.This mixed veg stall has got it right!I strongly recommend you to try their har jiong Kai which runs out pretty quickly. The tomato fried egg is also very saucey and reminds me of when I used to have this pretty often in Shanghai.Come here during dinner time and you will have 30 or so dishes to pick from, they have a huge variety of good food. 2 veg, 1 meat is $3. Reasonably priced for a coffee shop.This is also the only stall I've noticed that has withstood the times, many of the other stalls in the coffee shop has changed or switched hands.

I come to this stall to take away mixed vegetable rice if i do not know what to eat. Some of the dishes that i always ordered are sweet & sour pork, braised tofu and lemon chicken with rice for $3.30. They are generous with the portion given. Their curry sauce is nice to go with the rice. Their dishes are quite a lot to choose. They cooked quite well too. Overall, this is cheap and not bad.

This is one of the few mixed vegetable rice stalls in my area. Some of their signature dishes are steamed egg with meat, sweet & sour pork and sambal sotong. I usually ordered them with a serving of white rice for only $3.80. I always requested to have curry sauce with my white rice. I enjoyed the steamed egg the most. It is not easy to perfect steamed egg but they have done it pretty well so far. Their sweet & sour pork has got a good balance of fat and lean meat so is another good choice.
