The red bean pancake at Mr Bean is of a good quality! I especially adore the azuki beans inside. In fact, one can even bite into the skin of the red bean, thus proving that it's a high quality red bean filling unlike some other red bean pancakes that do not have the azuki bean texture. This red bean is one of the best red bean filling that I've eaten. However, I've always felt that their pancake is lacking in taste and texture. Bought a cup of Mr Bean soya bean ice-cream again! The serving was generous, the ice-cream was icy, creamy and milky enough to my liking. It's cheap too, $1.80 for a great dessert after a meal. Basically it only cost 1/3 the price of most frozen yoghurt. Would be better if they could create an option for assorted toppings like cereals and nuts, I believe those would go well with soya milk base. continue reading
