The scrabbled egg baked rice was a terrible start. It is because the mango tango which does not taste good and there is burnt too. The price is $6.40 which include ice cream and ice lemon tea.The ice cream waffle was better as it is quite crispy and ice cream taste rather good. The beautiful presentation also add mark to it.The pasta was better as it is evenly cooked and the source taste good too. The best of all is mushroom soup is very nice!! You can taste all the goodness inside. Overall the food is only an average. continue reading

Review on Eighteen Chefs @ Eastpoint SimeiIf you're craving for cheese fries/ baked rice, I would recommend this place!ServiceThis is a self-service restaurant where you have to "write down your order and proceed to the cashier" system. The staff are friendly unless if it's peak-hour & crowded with people, they might seem stressed and under pressure but rest assure that they aren't like that (I've seen them in their best and worst days)Suggested daysI often visits this place for dinner & it's often pretty crowded. Since they offer annual promotion for students, the place was always crowded (Lunch time & Dinner) whenever I patronized there - no doubt a hit with students.Waiting time can be as long as 30-45 minutes.Prices $$I often order the student meal ($6.40 + GST), that includes a cheese baked rice/pasta with 1 topping (if you buy an additional topping, you'll get another one free!), 'Flavour of the day' ice-cream (which is always Choco-chip Chocolate) and a cup of home-made ice lemon tea. Personally, I do not favour chocolate flavoured ice-cream but this is okay. I managed to only eat half. RatingI really enjoy their Create Your Own Pasta / Baked Rice dish. So I'm giving it 4/5.The Cheese Baked Rice is covered in excellent, gooey, thick cheese DDDespite the peak-hours, I like patronizing this restaurant.Other varietiesHot Chocolate with MarshmallowBolognaise Cheese Fries (SUPER LIKE!!!)Wafflesp/s: You have to take your own cutlery(s) & other condiments yourself. There's also free cold water dispensers & cups. continue reading

Really like theway how the chef allows us to create our own pasta by choosing our own ingredient and sauce.the lemon tea tastes very refreshing, and the cup used has a very cute design as u can see in the picture continue reading

This restaurant is quite special,We need to choose base first for pasta, then sauce, main ingredient and top up ingredient.I choose the normal one.Because i really dono wan to order what.It is quite nice, the spaghetti is soft and smooth. But the sauce is quite normal, just like home cooked one.But it really taste nicer if add on pepper and chilli. It is really nice.It is fresh and i like the lemon taste. It cost only $2.2.It is very worth, because it is really tasty and it is big in size.It is just like the lemon tea from the lavender food court there. continue reading

Out for a chilling time with my friend, we headed to Eighteen Chefs at East Point to chill over dessert.I ordered the warm waffle, which comes drizzled with chocolate syrup and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Was anticipating it eagerly as I had been craving for a warm waffle for quite a while. However, I was terribly disappointed The waffle served was too hard and quite tasteless, even when eaten with the chocolate syrup and ice cream.Perhaps they could be more generous with the chocolate syrup or add butter to the waffle as it was way too tasteless.Huge disappointment and won't order this again continue reading
