Was looking for a cake for a mini gathering sometime back. Saw this Strawberry Lite Cheesecake ($20.80) which seems preety delicious and nice. Thus decided to order it. One of the best cheesecake in town. The cheesecake is very smooth and you can taste the cheese feeling. Also, the strawberry jelly. Design is rather plain, but the taste is definitely fabulous! Worth a try if you've not tried before. Price is also very reasonable. continue reading

This loaf of raisin breads look quite neat and presentation, so decided to buy back and try it out. Unfortunately it is not as tasty as what I have expected it to be. THe bread texture is quite tough and dry and the amount of raisins topped on it are actually quite little and in per slice, you can almost spotted less than five raisins on it. THe taste is also quite flat and does not really has its special taste and flavour. continue reading

I chance upon to have a taste on their pandan cheese swiss roll as my boss brought it for us to try. In fact I already had my lunch , however, I can't resist the temptation of having a mouth of swiss roll cake. Inside of the cake there layer of fresh cream, follow by some cheese. After tasted, The swiss roll were not good as I thought. The swiss roll was not soft and a bit dry. It don't has a strong taste of pandan. But the cream can really be better, it would be perfect if they give more cream fillings too. Not that I’m complaining anyway, it’s still a slice of rich & good cake. continue reading

Bengawan Solo serves one of the best kuehs in Singapore and it presents quite a variety of snacks to choose from for breakfast, tea or snacks. Sagu Melaka is one of my favourite and I like it when it is served chill. In terms of appearance, I think it will have already captured your attention with the three layers of colours and you are able to see the many pieces of sago. The brown layer taste like Sugar Melaka to me. Additionally, it has that chewy texture but it does not make your jaw tired. In terms of sweetness, I think it is reasonable, which will not make one sick of it. If I need to pick something bad, I will say the price of $0.90 a piece is a little costly. continue reading
