Whenever I choose to eat outside, I will be choosing for a healthier version meal as compared to eating fast food. This time round, I have chosen to eat yong tao foo. The items from this yong tao foo stall offers a wide variety to choose from up to around 20 items or so. Freshness wise is there and the cooking process is not too long. This stall also allows customer to choose their own garnish such as the yellow bean and deep fried garlic in oil as it is not seen from some of the yong tau foo stall. Price wise is reasonable for around 60-70 cents per piece.   continue reading

Once in a while one needs to opt for a healthy meal for a change. At Lot 1’s spacious food court with plenty of seats , I ordered Yong Tau Foo Soup with Beehoon and the friendly auntie was quick to get my order up.Clear soya bean soup (they usually leave the cooked beans for people to add into their soup for free) is light tasting. Fishball is nice and bouncy (chopsticks users, don’t drop them now. Once dropped it won’t come back); Beancurd skin was crispy. Overall a tasty and hearty healthy meal without a single feeling of sin. continue reading

It was raining Monday night. My tummy was crying for food, something nottoo heavy but something light. So I went and grabbed a bowl of Yong Tau Foowith Beehoon at Food Junction. The Yong Tau Foo was served with hot and tastysoup and bee hoon. You can ask with any noodle you want. They have kway teow and a few noodles for you to choose. Don't forget the chillies. Yummylicious!Spending : Less than $10.00 continue reading

This stall is rather popular, at each time, there will be about 3 or 4 people choosing their ingredients. I decided to order their dry yong tau foo. Initially I took 6 ingredients but when I looked at the menu board, it states the minimum to order is 7 ingredients so I had to take another one more. Their ingredients were the common yong tau foo ingredient. I took their silken toufu, I find it a little smaller piece as compared to other places but nevertheless it was nice. Their sweet sauce is not the diluted kind, very thick and sweet. their chilli is not too spicy too. i paid $4.80 for the 7 pieces of ingredients and yellow noodles. continue reading

My mother took away the curry yong tau foo for both my sister and I. the yong tau foo at this food court is not bad. I like their curry, it is not too spicy and the gravy is very thick and sweet. I think just by selling curry and can even open a stall. my mother ordered bee hoon for the both of us with a couple of ingredients. I think the bee hoon went well with the curry gravy as the bee hoon absorbs the curry. continue reading
