Signature Dishes
Currently Polar having a promotion for their chicken pie. Purchased 2 pieces for S$4.00.The chicken pie is no longer flaky like before but still buttery.The pie has become very soft and the pastry crumbled before I could take my first bite.There was more ingredients in this chicken pie than compared to their so called Special Pie at S$3.30 each. The fillings have more chunky pieces of chicken meat and vegetables.Compared to only one third filling found in the Special Pie, this chicken pie has about 90 percent of ingredients.I would opt for purchase the Chicken Pie than their Special Pie.

We ordered some curry puff, pies and swiss roll for takeaway. The famiy always enjoy Polar Curry Puff.At $1.60 this curry puff pack a spicy punch of dry chicken curry. The pastry is not your usual fried dough but a baked multi layers puff pastry.The chicken pie share similar flaky pastry which is filled with creamy chicken chunks, mixed vegetable and button mushroom.The sugar roll is plain swiss roll coated with caster sugar. It has othe flavours like chocolate and strawberry. This is old school style of cake.The cakes and pastry are decent at a reasonable price. This is why Polar is a popular tea time choice.

The softest cake roll i ever taste and turn out to be very delicious, not too sweet and less cream in the sugar roll. Its only $1.10 each since its nice i decide to buy two to fulfill my craving. This cake can be found any Polar Puff & Cakes outlet and their staff is very friendly and they are on clean environment too. I always eat their cakes n pastries, the best and reasonable price. Yummy!

I always like to eat baked pie and never miss to have a bite. This time, I get the stuffing with tuna which is not easy to get. Most of the confectioneries like to produce Chicken pie and Apple pie which are the most common one. This tuna pie has a beautiful outlook. Without any hesitation, I bought it and taste it immediately which was still warm. I believe that this Tuna pie taste good without any stingy fish smell as the ingredients they use is fresh. It has a crispy skin and the tuna is fresh and juicy soft and delicious too. I like it.

Polar puffs & cakes not only popular and good on their different types of puffs and sugar rolls, they are also good in their durian cake as well. Especially like their durian shape cake which is full of durian meat which is abit bitter and slightly sweet. The design is really nice and look almost like a real 'opened up durian'. The price is also very reasonable at $28 for a half kilogram cake, they will specially design the above cake for you. Surely is a great bargain with great taste as well.
