For quality ice creams, you should choose Haagan Daz. One of my friend gave me a $50 Haagan Daz voucher, thus decided to use some of it at Haagan Daz Tampines Mall. Browsed through the menu, actually most of the ice creams are way overpriced, getting the pint ones at $14.50 is more worth it. Nevertheless, still ordered a Triple Scoop ($13.50) to share amongst me and my friend. Ordered the Vanilla, Chocolate Chips, as well as the Mango Passion Fruit. Vanilla and Chocolate Chips are rather normal, nothing special. But the Mango Passion Fruit is indeed one of the best combination. The taste of Passion Fruit is sweet, while the mango makes the passion fruit tastes abit sour, thus it makes one of the best combination. Perhaps the service wise can be improved. Most of their staffs are at one corner chatting rather than serving us. Waited quite awhile for our ice cream to be served although the place is rather empty. Total paid $16 odds after the 17% taxes. continue reading

I was initially planning to buy a box of nice durian mooncake for own consumption but realised that most vendors have jacked up prices to over $50+ even with credit card discounts. So after much pondering I got myself a pair of premium ice cream mooncakes from Haagen Dazs instead. Their ice cream mooncakes are retailing at $48 for 2pcs and $68 for 4pcs. There is an ongoing 15% discount with selected credit cards. I picked the Dark Chocolate & Strawberry flavors.Dark chocolate ice cream with mango sorbet center and crispy praline base. This was very yummy...the thick crackling chocolate coating reminds me of how I enjoyed eating the Magnum ice cream. The sweet and refreshing mango sorbet 'egg yolk' and crisp praline base was a perfect match with the rich and creamy dark chocolate sundae...thumbs up!Strawberry ice cream with mango sorbet center and crispy praline base. This was fruity and refreshing and I love the bits of strawberry in the ice cream. Yums. continue reading

Haagen Dazs has a promotion every tuesday for members where we get a discount for any purchase hence I always choose a tuesday to reward myself here This time round, we decided to get this dessert on the menu. It consisted of a chocolate sponge cake, a chocolate eclair and 3 scoops of ice cream. The downside was that we were not allowed to choose our ice cream flavors which made it a bummer. The ice cream that was served was green tea, chocolate and vanilla. The green tea had a very strong flavor and may not appeal to those who do not like green tea. There was nothing special about the chocolate or vanilla ice cream as they tasted pretty normal to me.The chocolate cake appeared to be a little dry and was not as moist as I hoped it would be. The chocolate eclair was probably the coolest part as there was chocolate ice cream in the eclair itself. It was then topped off with granche chocolate. It did made the eclair very hard and a knife had to be used with much force to cut through it.Overall, the dessert was just average and I was pretty disappointed as it did not quite meet my expectations . Would definitely try other desserts next time round! We paid about $15.50 after discount usually price would be close 20+ after service charge continue reading

It was our first time having ice cream at the restuarant itself. We're a huge fan of Haagen-Dazs ice cream! We always have Haagen Dazs ice-cream at home. This time, we would like to try out the chocolate fondue.Again, there were quite a lot of people. All the tables were packed when we reached, we've got to wait for about 10 mins, it was quite fast still. The fondue was enough for 4 person, there were even decorations around the chocolate dipping. Awesome place to dine, friendly staff and we would definitely go back again. There were fruits, cookies and cake, 16 mini scoops(vanilla, strawberry, chocolate & cookies & cream) of ice cream in the set, and a small pot of yummy yummy chocolate dip! continue reading

Im not a huge fan of Haagen-Dazs at first but after trying their waffles with their Belgium chocolate i got hooked. The ambiance here is good, you can people watch here since it in an open space. Friendly attentive servers they have . The brownie wasn't fantastic, it seems dry for me but over all its okay when eaten with the ice cream. Im a fan of their crispy waffle and chocolate ice cream! Its pretty steep though the price. If i can recall it cost a lil over $10 just for the waffles and 2 scoop of ice cream. But hey, its Haagen Dazs though, cant complain much!Try it when you can! At least once if your life time! continue reading
