The FoodRecently, I noticed that this famous chicken rice stall at Yishun have same outlet at Ang Mo Kio Central hence I decided to try to see if the taste is the same. I ordered a plate of roasted chicken breast rice with added rice at $3.90. The chicken breast is tender & juicy & not as dry compared to other stalls. I also love the rice which is fluffy & flavourful & not too dry or soft. The rice also have a nice fragrance of garlic and sesame oil. The chili also taste shiok and sourish & not too overly spicy. The PriceReasonably priced at $3.90 per plate for extra rice ! OverallOverall, the taste is similar to Yishun outlet and this is also one of the best chicken rice I ever tasted & is a must try for all chicken rice lovers who stay around Ang Mo Kio outlet! continue reading

I always come to this outlet for my chicken rice fix since i live in Ang Mo Kio. This is easily the best chicken rice in Ang Mo Kio area. Unlike their outlet in Yishun, this stall has white chicken and roasted chicken. I quite like their roasted chicken with azhar. The meat is tender and tasty. The rice cooked just nice too. The chilli is quite spicy with nice ginger paste to go with chicken rice. This is a must try if you are in Ang Mo Kio. continue reading

I am a big fan of Chicken Rice. This stall and their main branch in Yishun are amongst those that serve above average Chicken Rice i ever tasted. The only complaint is their breast meat tasted quite tough at times. And so, i do not always go for their breast part. My usual choice has always been the thigh or even the drumstick. I always go for the larger portion at $3.60. It used to be at $3.50 but there is an increase of 0.10 cents in price recently. I always add 0.50 cents for chicken liver. I believe the rice and the chilli are the main factors contributing to their popularity. The rice tasted flavorful and well-cooked to give it the soft grainy texture. The chilli is made of mostly chilli padi to give it the intense spiciness with a hint of ginger taste. Their chilli is amongst the best that i ever tried. If you do not like white chicken then you can go for their roasted chicken. continue reading

Went to meet a friend of mine for dinner at AMK after my work. Ain't sure where to have our dinner.:bowl: And somehow came to his mind to bring me to this coffeeshop for chicken rice. It caught mine attention as i saw d name 'Yishun 925 Chicken Rice', the first thing that came to my mind is that since it's a franchise, may taste different. To my surprise, it tastes the same as the one in Yishun. It was really awesome!! I can barely taste the MSG in soup unlike other chicken rice stalls. The chicken is tender and not dry at all compare to some shops out there. Was looking around the coffeeshop and seems that majority of the customers are eating their chicken rice. :bowl:If you are getting individual set, it cost only $2.50. If you want to eat chicken wing, it'll cost you $3.00. Indeed it's awesome and cheap! Therefore, DO TRY IT OUT WHEN YOU ARE IN AMK!! continue reading

I ever eaten at their outlet in Yishun a few times. I was excited when i chanced upon their outlet in Ang Mo Kio. I decided to order a chicken drumstick with rice. This stall offers only white chicken. Their white chicken tasted really good. The meat still have its tenderness and tasted quite juicy. Their chilli is one of the best. It is made of the chilli padi so the spiciness level is quite intense. Their chicken rice has nice fragrant and very grainy. continue reading
