Many people would not be aware that Amigo and Weng Kee Original Taste Ipoh Hor Fun are not affiliated with each other at all, even though they sell pretty similar stuff.I'm a regular patron at Amigo and have tried almost all of their dishes.I would highly recommend Gan Lao Mee Sua with Chilli (Mian Xian) and Chicken Chop Hor Fun. Their portion is pretty generous and I will always go into a food coma whenever I finish a meal there. The sour taste from the vinegar complements the chilli very well, and it's very flavourful. The chicken chop hor fun has more of a savoury taste compared to Weng Kee (which has a sweet taste, it's ultimately up to your preference but in my opinion hor fun should be savoury.) Ask for their sambal chilli! It's fragrant and not too spicy.Their dumpling soup is delicious! A good amount of filling it in and the marinate/taste of the dumpling filling is really good.

I wanted to try out the hawker food at changi village food centre on 21.9.2014. turned out to be a huge disappointment.my wife went first to get her food & came back with bakchormee some 15mins later. she bought from the stall with the longest queue "amigo". this amigo refers to the stall at #01-34 & NOT #01-05this amigo bakchormee was really mediocre, which really meant it was quite poor by comparison, far below the standard of 6th avenue jalan tua kong, lau lim @ bedok simpang, ming fa @ upper thomson etc. the noodles were not QQ, and the chilli & flavours were what can i say, mediocre!don't think i want to try this stall again.See my full reviews & photos at = http://chefquak.com/2014/09/23/nasi-lemak-truly-sucks-changi-village-food-centre-on-21sep2014/

Changi Village always pack with people during lunch. Mushroom Miced Pork Noodle is a common dish people will order for daily meal. Service# Self service, good is this stall not much Q. Noodle# Just nice not too dryMushroom# Normal and abit too little Pig Liver# It is not overcook, thumb up for this, very fresh also.Miced Pork# NormalPortion# Quite bigWill I come back again? Hmmm maybe.
