Pondok Jawa - The indonesian food at Wisma Atria Food Republic. It's at 4th floor of Wisma Atria. Not too crowded at lunch time and convenient to dine in.I ordered BBQ chicken set for packet, costs at $6.00.It came with chicken drumstick, vege and a slice of omelette egg. Can choose curry or sweet sauce to add. Taste is quite okay and chicken is well balanced with the sauce. I may come back to try their signature one Ayam Penyet Set next time. continue reading

Lunch at Wisma Atria Food Republic is quite standard - I will most likely be eating the Indonesian Seafood dish there. It's not as expensive as some of the other items (those malay & chinese zi char can cost up to $8-$11) and it's a massive plate. I ordered the BBQ chicken and it comes with a chicken drumstick, veggies, and one slice of egg. You can ask for sweet sauce and/or curry gravy (I usually ask for both). The food is not bad, sweet sauce is good over the BBQ chicken plus the mixture of curry balances well with the flavour. continue reading

We ordered this chicken penyet at $6 a set, not the usual penyet set where they also included the tempeh. The taste was okay only as we felt that the seasoning wasn't really gone into the chicken meat enough and everything seemed dried but thankfully they came with a bowl of soup to ease the throat. The sambal was not too bad but pretty spicy though. Overall verdict...just okay. continue reading
