Kenny Rogers Roasters was first introduced in 1991 by John Y. BROWN, who was the Governor of the state of Kentucky, and too was also the original developer of Kentucky fried chicken. If you like to eat chicken, you couldn't miss trying the chicken here! There are a few Kenny Rogers Roasters restaurant around on Singapore but it is currently located in convenient places like Great World City and Novena, all is near to Mrt and city areas. Thy have a wide variety of choices for desserts and Ala Cart dishes. So you may need to spend a minute of your time to choose. The place is quite relaxing and cozy. The prices are quite affordable. My friend and I ordered a set meal each with side dishes.

My sisters raved about Kenny Rogers and so one day after work we decided to pop by for dinner. We reached around 7pm and the restaurant was still quite empty and continued to remain so till around 8pm. We were served corn muffins when we were seated but I think these tasted quite alright. Didn’t finish it as I was leaving my belly for their renowned ribs and chicken!I quite like the décor of the restaurant, particularly their overhead lamps (made up of small bottles). We ordered Roasters Ribs Platter, Roasters Wings and Barbeque Chicken Pitas. My sisters kept saying how awesome the chicken and ribs were on her last visit but I think the sides outshone the main dishes. (Maybe the chef wasn’t in a good mood and so it didn’t taste as nice) The one dish I disliked was the Barbeque Chicken Pita. I never felt so strongly about any dish before. I think it was the pita that I did not enjoy. My sisters seem to think otherwise and helped to finish the chicken pita.I survived mainly on the sides to fill up my tummy for this otherwise average meal.

It was a wonderful afternoon that I happen to drop by this Little Western Restaurant, at 313@Somerset.I had Vegetables, with Spaghetti and Half a Chicken.Muffin was on the House. Nice!The Vegetables were a little hard though.

Late lunch with buddy. Didn't know what to eat, so we decided on Kenny Rogers since there ain't any crowdComplementary corn muffin were served the moment you were seated. Muffin is soft & not dry, with bits of corn inside.Chicken & ribs combo. While the chicken is good - soft, tender & well roasted, the ribs is dry & a little hard. Ceaser Chicken Pita - shredded chicken was a little too dry. Each combo comes with 2 side dishes, so we had corn (slightly buttery), potato salad (too much mayo), mashed potato (taste ordinary) & steam vegetables (taste bland). They were so much better during the "self-service" days! Food taste has drop tremendously these days. The only thing that will makes me return again is probably the corn muffin

My friend is in love with Kenny Rogers so we went for dinner there. There was a slight queue on Friday night as the outlet was short-handed. Staffs were friendly and were trying their best to attend to all customers asap. Kudos to them! =)Hot-just-out-of-the-oven corn muffin for each person was served super quickly after orders were placed. It gives us something to fill our hungry stomach while waiting for our mains.I always go for the chicken pot pie whenever I go to Kenny Rogers. As always, it never fails to arose my palate! =Dchicken pot pie.It comes in a bread bowl which remains extra crispy all through the meal which was fantastic!! There are chunks of chicken, potatoes & carrot in the rich creamy soup.Together with the chicken pot pie, it comes with 2 sides which you can choose from an array of hot & cold choices. Mine were mac & cheese and potato salad.The mac & cheese is flavourful and quantity of cheese is very generous which is a bonus!The potato salad has big chunks of red-skin potato in cream sauce. Super tasty as well!I will definitely be back to hopefully try other recommended dishes like their roasted chicken.
