I always passed by this stall and attracted by the fish..Last time i ordered a pumpkin one, that's not very nice. This time say this red bean matcha one.So directly ordered it.It is awesome. The matcha taste is nice and the red bean paste match perfectly with the matcha dough. It's skin is a bit crispy and inside is soft.It is a bit damp make the matcha taste nicer.Really a nice snack..! continue reading

lovelovelove the fish pancakes here. the filling is so generous and the pricing is not too expensive. there are so many flavours to choose from. the custard is pretty good. the kaya and chocolate is good too. i love the traditional red bean flavour. i also love the perfectly formed fish! the pastry is just thick enough so it's not sickening and it's the right texture. love that the detail of the fish is so clear. service is quick and efficient and love that it is always served hot and fresh! no cold pancakes! holds well in condensation in the bag too. continue reading

It has been ages since I had been here and this time around, I went for the more expensive durian pancake. Previously, I have always stuck to the $1.30 range of pancakes and I am glad I tried this, because it was so good! As you can see, there is quite a substantial amount of durian pulp within the pancake, meaning you really get your money's worth. It simply has given me more reason to buy from them now whenever I am in the area! continue reading

i was craving for a little snack. I was spoilt for choice at the variety of snack stalls art bugis. I decided to settle for ooki taiyaki, the fish snack. This time I decided to try the red bean flavor. Their red bean is from Japanese, not the normal ones we find at supermarket. The pastry is really delicious, very crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The red bean filling is not too sweet, yet they really give a lot until at every bite they ooze out! It is so delicious. a great afternoon snack! continue reading

Bought really really good cheese tarts from Ooki Taiyaki! At first it just looked like egg tarts and we had second thoughts about it. But upon trying it out, we thought it was amazingly good! The cheese just burst in your mouth and the tart is good too! Great cheese tarts! Probably one of the best I’ve ever tried before! continue reading
