9 out of 10 times when we are here, this loh mee is our must order. It is very value for money, taste is good and portion is big.I have never tasted lohmee like this elsewhere and what is interesting is their topped fried fish pieces. There is always a queue at this stall and sometimes the waiting could be up to 15 minutes especially during lunch. But the queue moves fairly quickly as food ordered is served quickly.I would always order extra fried fish to go with my lohmee as they are really good, nicely fried and good tasting.I also loved adding the extra minced garlic to make my lohmee taste richer. continue reading

This particular brand is one of my most preferred choice for Lor Mee. I have tried few of their outlets and their standard has been good so far. I usually ordered the $4 portion though smaller portion is available at $3 too. There was a long queue of about 9 people when i was there at about 1 pm. I waited for about 15 minutes to place my order and another couple of minutes before gotten it. I ordered an extra $2 serving of fried fish nuggets to go with my Lor Mee. The fried fish nuggets are available at $1, $2 and $3. The portion of $4 from this particular stall was massive as compared to their other outlets. It was so much that i did not manage to finish it. I added an extra amount of chilli and garlic paste into my Lor Mee to enhance its taste a little further. The braised sauce has got a noticeable stickiness and delightful smoothness. I mixed the nicely cooked yellow noodle, the fried fish nuggets and other ingredients well in it. It was a bowl of delicious Lor Mee awaits. I enjoyed it pretty much. continue reading

I had queue for 30 minutes just to try this MaBo lor mee! Well, when i am nearer to the store, i snapped a photo of it! (first picture). There is 3 types of lor mee basically and i ordered the original one_ MABO lor mee. It comes in 2 size or rather 2 pricing- $2.50 and $3.50. I ordered the $2.50 and on top of that, i added fried fish to my dish. The fried fish comes in $1, $2 and $3. I never regret ordering this lor mee and never regret for queuing such a long time! It was really nice, particularly the fried stuff inside. I was really different from the other lor mee. On top of that, savoury sauce is what i liked the most! It was so thick and there is a mild sweetness in it. The only thing i disliked is the yellow noodles, there is a very strong taste of oil, i think it was not washed before it was cooked! This brings the bowl of lor mee down. But the fried food was really awesome, even it turned cold, the fried food never lost it texture; still so crispy! It is quite hard to get a seat, therefore it was suggested to go before the lunch crowd. continue reading

The FoodI ordered lor mee which comes with ngor hiang, fish cake, braised meat, braised egg and fried fish nugget. The thick and savory, yet not overly starchy gravy coats the noodles very well with strong tinge of spices in the gravy. As for the yellow noodles is also perfectly cooked and is veri springy too.The PriceReasonably priced at $2.50 per bowlOverallI will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this! continue reading

The queue for this stall is quite long.I was attracted by the mabo. There is also some picture of newspaper to recommend this stall. So i decided to have a try. This lor mee is not bad.It is quite different from the singapore style. It is mroe sticky and the color is not so dark. They also put some fried crispy biscuit. When mix it with the gravy,it become soft and taste good. The portion for this dish is quite big.If not mistaken,it cost only $3.50 or 2.50.It is a nice try. continue reading
