Looking for something affordable but not interested in dining at the fancy up-market restaurants along Marina Bay? No worries, there is Rasapura Masters at MBS serving hawker fares, though its prices may be marked up somewhat due to its location.Regardless I had dinner there and along with my mum ordered ramen. She had the seafood ramen while I had the volcano ramen. The latter is aptly named since, as you can see from the picture, the centre of the bowl has one huge dollop of chilli paste on it. Thus making the whole ramen very spicy, perfect for people who enjoy spicy food. One bowl of ramen cost around $12 which I think is pretty reasonable compared to the ones you get at restaurants and so it’s a fair price to pay. continue reading

The spicy also ramen at $7.90 comes in a big bowl to satisfy hungry stomachs. Here you do not get to customize your preferred level of spiciness. The noodles were nice and springy, submerged by a medium spicy broth. It was served with crunchy bean sprouts, shredded kelp, spicy minced pork, garlic chips and half a braised egg. Reasonable value for a posh place like MBS Shoppes. continue reading
