Wanted to try out KFC's honey biscuit to compare with Popeye's and Texas chicken's, but it is only available in the morning if I am not wrong.Taste wise, it is very similar to texas chicken's, as both are honey flavoured, unlike Popeye's buttermilk flavoured biscuit.I kind of like KFC's honey biscuit most out of the three, can taste honey in every bite and some parts of the biscuit have stronger honey taste.Texture wise, I like it that it is hard on outside and soft in inside. The burger only cost $2.40.It tasted familiar, kinda like the shrooms burger without the mushrooms, or should I say it tasted totally same, only without the mushrooms taste, even the patty used seems to be the same. The egg is very smooth, but too soft for my liking. The amount of mayonnaise in the burger is little, cannot really taste it throughout the whole burger. continue reading

The congee surprisingly does not taste salty as i thought it might be as after all, this is called fast food where health is not really their main concern. The congee actually taste quite bland and healthy as the little or perhaps no sodium added into it. The chicken in it however, are fried then put inside thus soggy but still retains their original taste. The chicken may not taste crispy anymore but they still taste good. And I believe this chicken actually are flavored . continue reading

Thinking about KFC, it will be the CHICKENMy all-time favourite at KFC…no doubt is the fried chicken. Original or crispy…just love it^^As always, the chicken tastes delicious, leaving us craving for more after finishing. The only thing that stops me from eating it is the fear of getting fat>.< but the aroma that gets to me whenever I walk pass a KFC will tempt me into eating it.The chicken is forever tender and juicy, crispy!;DThe marinating recipe makes the chicken delicious and tasty so chicken-licious ! xD continue reading

McDonald's Hotcakes, meet your new competitor. KFC's a.m breakfast menu has recently been expanded to include blueberry pancakes!Perhaps I'm a bit biased as I like my hotcakes on the thicker side. But I'm heading to KFC the next time I seek an affordable and convenient pancake fix. While they were smaller in size, KFC's pancakes was no less satisfyingly soft, and were even more pleasantly fluffy and moist than those from the Golden Arches! The sweetened blueberry bits speckled in the batter rendered every bite all the more delightful. Like most fast food restaurants, KFC's scrambled eggs were hard-cooked over high heat. Skip them (and save fifty cents) if you like your eggs soft and creamy like I do.Price: $3.90 for blueberry pancakes, $4.40 for blueberry pancakes & eggs, $4.90 for blueberry pancakes & eggs with coffee/teaDo also try their egg tarts if you haven't had them before. Served piping hot, KFC's Portuguese egg tarts ($1.30 each) feature smooth, wobbly custard encased in light, flaky pastry. Unfortunately the tarts are a bit inconsistent- sometimes I find that the tarts have oily bases. I'm guessing that they're best eaten when fresh out of the oven! continue reading
