My dept wanted to have lunch here and I thought why not!I got myself a quarter chicken with 3 hot sides. The chicken serving is relatively large but not very tasty if not for the brown sauce over. I'm comparing this to Kenny Rogers whose grilled chicken is good on its own. The sides are passable only for me.Sad to say that I'll unlike eat here again... continue reading

The price and portion of the food is good! Not to mention about the taste! Definitely recommend the Mediterranean painini and the half rotisserie chicken! The waiting time is reasonable and it is a good place to chill after the meal with friends. However. The inside seating is rather limited and seating outside might be a little bit ' oily ' . It was fine other than that. Been there twice! continue reading

I have known The Rostisserie for its reasonable and deliciously priced roast chicken as well as the pork knucke. I ordered the quarter chicken ($11.90) this time around and you actually get to choose three sides to go along with it. They are a few choices and I picked the baked cauliflower, mash potato and corn. I love the tenderness of the chicken and how the sauce goes with it. Side were made delicious and made fresh as well. In additional, I even ordered a chicken salad to go along with it. With all the sides that goes with it, I was really full to the brim. It will be perfect if the chicken was served hot. Apart from this I took the alfresco seat cause it was quite packed indoors. I thought it will be quite warm with the Singapore weather but to my surprise, it was actually pretty windy. Enjoyed my dinner throughly and I would definitely want to try their breakfast one day as well. continue reading

Half Chicken $17The half chicken comes with 2 side choices. I ordered the potato salad and coleslaw and they are quite nice! The coleslaw is made of fresh crunchy vegetables. The meat is a little dry though, but very tender. Chicken with Penne Pasta $12The pasta was nice and of appropriate moisture. The chicken strands in the pasta tasted much better than the half chicken. continue reading

Do not expect friendly and approachable service here. The cashier was not helpful when we asked her what a particular menu selection meant. When asked another question, she got into a robotic tone and told us what was already written on their menu. We can read in English dear cashier. We just want more information before ordering as it was our first visit to your restaurant.Food wise.. The chicken would taste better without the salty brown sauce. The skin was a little oily but the grilled till evenly brown colour was appealing. Server gave breast meat and we asked if we could have thigh meat instead. She did not reply, and went to toss the breast meat back into the stack of chicken meats and picked a thigh section of chicken, dropped it into the plate and walked to the salad station. We followed assuming that was what we were supposed to do. It would have helped if she smiled. For side dish, the choice was either chips (fries), vegetables, or salad.Choice made today was salad. Pasta salad was bland and does not appeal after a bite. Rocket salad was fresh though. So maybe you can come here for salad feast. You may want to sit indoors here. There were no seats left inside and we had to settle for outdoor seating. The strong winds outside blew our food cold in minutes. Papers and tissues were also seen flying around in the windy environment.Coffee is horrible. Do not waste your money. There are better cafes within walking distance from here. continue reading
