Signature Dishes
One would hardly get to know about this stall, situated within an old style coffee shop, dimly lighted with typical mini tiled flooring, giving one a nostalgia feeling, reminding more of JB style joints. Back to the main point, we were here for the bak chor mee, recommended by one of the colleagues. At $3 a bowl, my dried version impressed with its soup base and the fried pork lard. The minced meat and ball is not put on the noodles but in the soup, kind of unconventional to do that for typical SG style bak chor mee but it tastes really well, sweet and with good qty of ingredients. Was observing the uncle who prepared it, can tell its with years of experience that he had to dish out every single bowl. A tried, tested and verified good recipe i'm sure
