Introduction
At the heart of every great roasted chicken is a great marinade. At Kenny Rogers Roasters, the secret to their great taste is their signature blend of lemon, ginger, sage and oregano (as well as other secret ingredients). Together, they seal the meat with amazing flavour while keeping it succulent and tender. continue reading

Visited Kenny Rogers for dinner on a weekend, wasn't too crowded when we reached about 6pm. We were served with complimentary muffins when we sat down, the muffins smelt good and were delicious. There were dried corns in the muffins, which gave it a more aromatic taste. We ordered the half chicken to share, with steamed vegetables and potato salad as our side dishes. The chicken looked very appetizing and was very delicious! It's soft and tender, and the breast meat wasn't too dry. Liked the chicken alot. The steam vegetables was cooked well, the carrots were not too hard. Potato salad was good too, very yummy. Was a great dinner! continue reading

Lunch with my colleagues at Tampines and we were all undecided where to eat. Finally, one of my colleagues suggested Kenny Rogers and we all agreed since most of us had not had Kenny Rogers for a long time. The Kenny Rogers in Tampines is newly opened too, so just try lah!Once we were all seated, corn muffins were being served (complimentary). I ordered a quarter chicken with 2 side dishes. Very filling and I couldn't finish the sides.Overall, not a bad dining experience but with competitors like Nando's around, they may want to have more attractive promotions to attract the customers. continue reading

Went there with my family for dinner . We ordered one whole roast chicken, pork ribs and four sides to go with our meal. This was my first time trying their pork ribs, I didn't like it because the ribs tasted too sweet for my liking. The chicken was cut into quarter, each of us got a big piece on our plate. I find the skin of the chicken full of flavour but the flesh was tasteless, I had to dip it into chilli sauce to make it more palatable, think they didn't season the chicken long enough. We liked their sides though, coleslaw tasted refreshing, cheese macaroni tasted cheezy and rich. continue reading

This is probably my first Kenny Roger in many many years! I'm quite surprise that they serve the complimentary squarish muffin to every diner. The muffin looks good, and it tastes very good indeed! It has a crispy texture on the outside, and fluffy moist inside. You can taste a hint of corn flavour with some corn kennel bits in the muffin too. Lovely! If you wish to have more of the muffin, simply order it from the menu. I had the Chicken pot pie ($15.90), and shockingly realized how huge it is! It's loaded with chunks of roasted chicken and fresh vegetales in a creamy sauce, served in a bread bowl. It tastes Ok, but I reckon it's slightly over starchy, and I couldn't finish the bread. With the order of the chicken pot pie, I get to choose two side dishes. One of which I chose the potato salad. It was kind of an disappointment as it didn't come with ingredients like egg slices and crispy bacon as normal potata salad would have. continue reading

Yesterday, we have our Ladies Christmas lunch at Kenny Rogers, Century Square. We sat down, the waiter gave us 1 corn muffin each. Then we order Lunch promotion (SGD 11++) which has 1/4 chicken w/ 1 side dish. I choose Macaroni and Cheese. and for the drink i order Root Beer. The food come quite fast. The corn muffin and macaroni is nice, but the main course which is chicken is not. Its quite tender but tasteless. Honestly, i prefer chicken rice chicken than this. It's really tasteless. I think i won't go there again. continue reading
