When living in as humid and hot an island as Singapore, one is always on the lookout for the latest icy treat to cool down on a warm day (which is almost everyday). I am thus well acquainted with a range of ice cold desserts and snacks, ranging from the humble ice kacang to the “atas” gelato. One of my favourite snacks to indulge in on a particularly hot day is both refreshing and healthy – soft serve froyo! While I do occasionally like to DIY my froyo, one of my favourite froyo places to patronize is Yami Yogurt, probably the oldest froyo chain in Singapore. It helps that I’ve a member loyalty card, so there’s always an excuse to help myself to some more. Today’s froyo is a medium sized peach flavoured one ($3.40), which tastes just like fresh peaches. The best thing is that Yami yogurt froyo is not as sour and tart as regular yogurt and yet, it still has just the right amount of tartness to be called froyo. Unlike some froyo outlets out there who seem to be selling soft serve ice cream instead. To keep this snack in the healthy category, I usually opt for either nuts or granola as topping, which is what I did today. This crunchy and sweet cereal goes really well with the soft froyo and makes it an even better treat.Do try them out on a sweltering day, your belly will thank you for it!

Ordered this yami yogurt before going to work. I ordered the peach flavor. I love the most is the original and peach. The peach is light flavor which gives off a refreshing taste. The original is a little to milk side and not too sweet. People who do not have a sweet tooth and loves milky yogurt should go for that. The fruits are also very fresh. I especially like their kiwi .

i totally love the yogurt at yami yogurt. You can never get enough of it. they will change the flavours from time to time giving you a wider selection. I love their original flavor. It is not sweet at all but when you add toppings, it brings out the sweetness of it. I love the cranberry topping together with the original flavor yogurt. The original yogurt is kind of tasteless but when you add the sweet cranberry, it is just nice!

This was during internship period and I was craving for dessert but i wanted to have something healthy so I got myself yoghurt at where else but yami yoghurt Decided to give blackcurrant flavour a try with peanut and kiwi toppings..Not a very good combination I would say...Still prefer Peach flavour and crunchy toppings.The kiwi was fresh but I think im not a fan of fruits with yoghurt so it wasn't really my cuppa.

It's Yami Yogurt once more. I'm a dessert person and I always like having some desserts after my meal. Well, I'll usually leave room for them, not just mentally but really.Yami had its four choices of flavors as usual, they happened to be Black Currant, Raspberry, Natural and Peach. I asked for a sample of the Raspberry but not much to my liking, went for the Black Currant and Peach. Also added my favorite colorful toppings of all times- fruiti pebbles!It was soooo good as usual, just excellent.
