Signature Dishes
This Starbucks is located just in front of Cineleisure main entrance. It is an outdoor cafe, so it is a good place to have a refreshing drink in a sunny day.Mocha Frappuccino (Tall) - $6. It is a mocha-blended drink. The mocha flavor was excessively bitter for my liking. I had to add in several packets of sugar before it tasted just right.Overall, I was not really satisfied with my drink, but I did enjoy the atmosphere here. A nice place to meet up with friends before going around in Orchard.

The marquee in front of Cineleisure has seen changes in tenants over the year and now it is occupied by Starbuc ks. This makes it the 5th Starbucks outlet in the Somerset area. The open concept makes it a convenient place to do some people watching, or to wait for friends. This sure beats hovering awkwardly outside the 7-11 store while aiting for movie companions to turn up. Having an al fresco coffee break is fine on a balmy December day, but not on sizzling sunny days in other months of the year.We had to have the New York cheesecake which was rich and filling with the merest hint of lemon zest cutting through the cheese to curb any dairy aftertaste. Friend opted for Venti Brew of the Day with milk while I went for the Toffee Nut Frappucino, also Venti sized. The Brew was great value and unlike other stores which use hot water to top up the coffee to the brim of Grande/Venti orders, the barista here filled the entire Venti cup with coffee and some milk. Toffee Nut Frap was ok ; taste was a little muted compared to Toffee Nut Latte I had on another occasion, when I could savour the creamy smoothness of the whole milk and the intense flavor of hazelnut syrup. No room for lunch after such a filling coffee break.
