After swimming, my friends and I felt really hungry. We headed to Junction 8 to have dinner. We chose to dine in Pastamania.Dory Baked Rice - $8.90. Baked rice with poached dory in creamy tomato herb and mozzarella sauce. The combination between tomato sauce and creamy mozzarella was not that bad. This dish was fulfilling, however, some of the rice grain was still undercooked. continue reading

I had a late lunch yesterday and my boyfriend and i decided to go Pastamania as we haven't try it before. We order the soup of the day which is mushroom sup. It cost $2.60. It taste quite good.I had the Marinara Spaghetti which i love it so much and the amount of prawn, sotong and clam was just enough too. Worth the price of $11.70.For the Tuna & Bacon Spaghetti which my boyfriend say that it was awful due to there is a vomit taste in the food. I think the mixture was rather bad. We waited for so long for this dish and the dish only came when i just finished my spaghetti. This cost $9.80. continue reading

Decided to have dinner at Pastamania because I was craving for pasta! And everytime I think of pasta, I will think of Pastamania, it is no doubt my number one choice for affordable and quality pasta! I will usually order spaghetti Bolognese but I decided to go for a change by ordering seafood marinara (tomato based) which seems to be one of the recommended ones. You've to head over to the counter to order and the order will be sent to you shortly. It took 10mins from ordering to serving so it's quite fast, considering that the place was packed during dinner time. The seafood marinara is quite good! It's even better if you like eating squids on a daily basis. There's clams, prawns and squid! However the squid was not very chewy, tasted abit like rubber though. But otherwise, the rest of the food was great! continue reading

There are quite a lot of people dining here as it's quite popular. Here, we ordered the Alfredo from the menu. The staff here are very friendly and helpful and asked for the pasta type. I opted for wholemeal spaghetti substitute pomodoro sauce instead of cream sauce. The chicken was very tender and the spaghetti was cooked al dente, even if you left it alone for while more, it'll be soft and nice to eat as the steam/ heat cooks on its own. Presentation was visually appealing as well. continue reading
