This bento from the Junction 8's top floor's food court costs $6. The bento comprises Thai rice (not the sticky Japanese type of rice), a deep fried breaded sutchi fish cutlet, a teriyaki chicken. fillet sliced into thin pieces, some local pickled veggies (achar) and a bowl of miso sauce. The fish was not bad exvept that it had not been carefully drained of the oil that it had been fried in. Teriyaki chicken is the standard quality but there was hardly any teriyaki sauce on it, else this could be used to drench the plain rice. Everything was quite dry so I had to scoop.some miso soup onto my rice to make it less unpalatable. Nothing to rave about; just an OK meal.

It was really worth the price. There is fried fish and sauce chicken in a set meal. You can eat 2 dishes together in one price. The Fried fish with the white sauce was really matching. The chicken sauce was sweet and i like it very much. It was nice. However, it was quite difficult to find a place there due to dinner time. The Japanese cuisine is really worth the wait.

Katsudon Pork Cutlet curry rice is a popular dish served in most Japanese Fast Food outlets. What’s special about this Katsudon Pork Cutlet curry rice here is mainly because of the curry sauce they serve. It is not spicy but has a strong curry flavor. Definitely value for money, for just $5.50, you can have a bowl of Japanese white rice that comes together with pork chop serve in carrot, potato and onion Japanese curry and a complimentary bowl of miso soup. It is really yummy and delicious. I will definitely keep coming back here for more.
