Have always had a impression that food court prices for Nex is sky high so had never paid attention to it. But my partner was keen to eat here so i gave it a try. The beef noodle stall caught my attention, always a fan of the sticky starchy sweet sauce (i miss the one at lavender food court). Ordered the premium version of beef tendon, beef and beef ball mixed combo with rice. Going straight to the point, the dish was nicely presented in a big bowl for the dry version with a separate smaller bowl of soup with beef balls. Beef slices and beef balls were nice but couldn't say the same for the stomach and tendon. Especially the tendon, it was a little too chunky for my liking, they could have cut in up to smaller pieces, i will probably stick to just beef slices and beef ball next time. The salted vege added was also way too salty. Sauce wise its not as flavorful as well. $6.50 for my set, self service. continue reading

Being a lover of beef noodles, I had to try this stall while I was at Nex's food junction. The soup is just ok, not as tasty as I have hoped. The sauce for the dry beef noodles was good though, and I liked that there were salted vegetables added to the dish because that adds more dimension to the dish. However, the salted vegetables were a bit too salty. Noodles and beef slices given were pretty good and the serving was large. - Dry beef noodles with beef balls ($5.50) continue reading

One great place to eat beef noodles will be at the Beef Noodles stall in Food Junction at Nex.I have patronized this stall a couple of times, and I will always go back to eat their delicious beef noodles. The prices of their beef noodles are not very expensive. For example, this bowl of sliced beef noodles costs me $4, with a bowl of soup. The price will be increased to $5 (+ $1) if I want to have meatballs in my soup. There do have other parts for you to add on I find the gravy of the noodles thick, smooth and not salty.Perfect taste when eaten with the noodles (coarse vermicelli). The healthy green vegetables were also very fragrant.Soup was great, and the meatballs were nice as well. And most importantly, the beef was GOOD Love this stall so much. The service was also good. However, during lunch and dinner time, it is very difficult to find seats there continue reading
